Toys R Us have begun to put out the shelftags for the reissue of Masterpiece Grimlock. Thanks to this fact, we can reveal that Masterpiece Grimlock seems to be set to retail for a low price of $59.99, which was the RRP of Grimlock the first time out.
Please do not get your hopes up too much though – this price seems almost too good to be true, especially given that the cost of making a Transformer as complicated as Grimlock has increased a little since the last go round. So this might turn out to be the old RRP still stuck in TRU’s system.
However if this does prove to be accurate, it means that everyone is in with a shot at getting themselves a Masterpiece Grimlock for a steal of a price – big thanks goes to mumdb1 for sharing this information with us.

I got one today and wasn't anymore floppy than the Takara reissue(the right hand is tighter than the Takara rerelease). The knees are scary tight like Soundwaves thigh joints. Mine came with a scratch on the chromed part of the tail so Ill wait until I can pick up an extra to swap out.

The online price was originally $79.99. It was only $59.99 in store.

thanks bro….will give it a try

Here's my original receipt. Go back and see if they'll price match like a few people here have.

TRU will not honor the price change
my local TRU will not honor to adjust the price to the original price that was advertised online. bunch of crap though, guess stuck paying the 79.99

Yes, trucks are manifested. Outside of management, employees typically don't have access to that documentation.
If they did, they'd only see a list of carton numbers anyway. While those can be matched up to product on the load, there's really not a good way to go about doing so. They'd essentially have to stumble through potentially thousands of CNs in the hope of finding what you're looking for.
With the SKN, however, anyone with a gun should be able to tell you whether or not a particular producg has been manifested by the DC. Doesn't mean it'll be on the next load, but should be on one of the next two or three depending on the store's distribution schedule.
Pretty simple: Replenishment-Picklist-SKN-Additional Info.

Can anybody who picked this up confirm that the joints are super floppy?
I read from a fellow poster on another toy forum that it barely stands up if you pose it.
He bought two and both were junk.

Is that going to include the trailer/Daniel as well? I may have to go with that one if I ever hope to own an MP-10…

I believe it is 500256.

Can we see box size comparisons to soundwave/acid storm?

Cant read the SKU…what are the numbers for this?

Called another TRU and they said they will have a truck in tomorrow but won't know what's on it until it gets there. Don't these stores have a manifest list showing what items they are receiving? Either TRU I go to is going to be about a 30-40 min drive.

Nice Looks like TX is the place to be today.

I found a one for my wife today at a local Toy R U store, though I had to call around different stores and check. One had 4 total in stock. Two were on hold including my wife's Grimmy ;p

Indeed. I got hosed, man.

The people I talked to seemed clueless about Grimlock, mostly young girls.

$60 is a great deal. £99.99 here in the UK is not.
