It seems I won't go to the dealer room on Saturday.

I'm not going but local man tfgeek71 is so I was interested in looking at the sched.
This looks like a GREAT con. Better than the 07 one with the exception of the exclusive toys. (07 was the best exclusive set evar!)
a very nice 25th aniversary con.

Really? I thought that was new this year. (There's an FAQ on the BotCon site that says the following):
I'm inclined to agree, but I'll make do without. Lots of typing….

Things I hoped you discussed:
Unless they're leaving the "Preview" part till the designers panel on Sunday
Yes Primus, Protoform and Minicon holders can attend the Friday preview.
since 2005 it's been Saturday and Sunday, don't see why it would change now.

What's the deal on video recording? The last 2 years BotCon had the controversy of telling us we couldn't record panels. (and not just the classified Hasbro panels either)
Something that's generally seen as part of the convention going experience. Folks felt rather shafted.

Phew… I was worried there for a second! Thanks for the update Pete.

Looks like a packed schedule.
Too bad I can't make it.
Hopefully this didn't go out to print yet with the spelling mistakes and missing information mentioned above!
It seems like the only way to do everything is to bring someone along with you to wait in all of the lines. If you wait in lines for the autographs you loose out on the panels. If you go to the panels, you don't get the autographs. I know this has been an issue in years past, but this year they have so MANY quests. The large number of guests only increase the number of panels and autograph sessions that people are going to have to miss…

Woot, thank you pete!

The Club store will be open Thursday night along with Registration…

This goes straight to GA Info.

I don't know that there's going to BE anything else to the Paramount Party than what we know. It doesn't start until after 8PM, you get a free poster, Stan Bush and perhaps Weird Al are going to perform, there's a dinner, and a tour of the Paramount backlot. As much as I'd KILL for a ROTF screening, I just don't see how they could squeeze one in without the party going on until like 2 or 3 in the morning…?
Hollywood Hoist
It seems like it may be difficult to get autographs this year with some of the guests only having 1 autograph session. I'm hoping they'll release some more info about the Paramount party.

I went last year but forgot the private preview on Friday is for primus holders right?

Saturday, 1:00-2:50 — "Panel: Hasbro Review and Q&A"
I'm assuming that should be "Preview". Depending upon the news about Animated, I'm not sure Hasbro will want to be reviewed by BotCon goers….

Agreed. I haven't watched all the video blogs yet, but, for what I have watched, I don't get a good sense of how this is turning out.

TransForm ME Documentory
Looks interesting, but I don't know that I'm willing to stay up till after 1AM to see it…

It is a change. I remember going on the tour at Botcon 2007 and being in line at the club store on Thursday while regular registration was going on.
It makes NO SENSE to advertise getting first crack at the show exclusives on Thursday as an incentive to pay for the tours and then not even having the store open Thursday, giving dealers first crack at the exclusives, AND leaving the tour attendees to stand in line with everyone who registered on Thursday.
As far as I can tell, that would make what they said in the brochure a complete lie, wouldn't it?
undertaker
Anybody know anything about this "Transform Me" documentary they have listed on the schedule?…
Did a quick Google on it. Hadn't heard about this before.
Backscatter
I don't think that's a change from previous years.
