Chris Ryall, IDW Publishing’s Publisher/Editor-in-Chief updated his blog with some teasers from the upcoming Transformers 3 Prequel Comic; Transformers: Sector 7.
“In September, we’re starting something with TRANSFORMERS that’s going to feel a bit different than what we’ve done before. I think this one might sneak up on people a bit, but it actually is the start of a huge storyline, so I wanted to put a bit more focus on it.Issue 1 of the 5-part TRANSFORMERS: SECTOR 7 kicks off the last week of September, and what it really is is the first chapter of a big story that will ultimately lead into the third TRANSFORMERS movie. The book’s written by John Barber and features Joe Suitor on art and colors, and you can see from the first two covers and one of the pages from issue 1 that this will be something out of the ordinary as far as TRANSFORMERS go. It delves deeper into the Sector Seven organization introduced in the first TF movie and fleshed out in our past TF movie-related comics. And like I say, it’ll be an important storyline as we build toward next summer’s big movie release.”

How do you know it's "Andy"? My guess was "Daddy and Mega-Man".
Lock Cade
Cool!
Omegatron
I'd like a toy of that Model T, please.

Not trying to hate as I will pick these up and dig them for the elsworlds type effect. Ryall should disclaimer that up a bit. Like, this will be sorta like a tie in…I lol when mugs got bent about the relevance before.
MenasorMaster
why does that skull look look like teh con insignia.
prime is a legend
As much as I like the movieverse, I stopped collecting these comics after the Revenge of the Fallen prequels. This however doesn't look too bad, So I may have to consider picking this up.
Hiro Prime
Looks nice, but I'd have thought a series about Sector 7 would be a 7 issue series, not 5.
MrAho
You know when people ask children to draw what they see when the 'encounter' an alien, look at 'andy and the mega-man'
PB379
Looks awesome! I like the Jetfire Artwork and am looking forward to seeing more Seekers. The Skull is a mystery.

Model-T, neat. I've never purchased any of these comics but this one looks different.
Overhaulimus
Love that Decepticon cow skull.
blackout501st
Looks like we will be seeing more of the seekers! I like the sound of this alot
Nerdicon
Loving this. Can't wait to see more vintage type designs.
Radicons make them happen!
Sprocket
I can't wait to not give a crap about what will most certainly have mediocre writing.
Wake me when IDW makes something that isn't skip-able.
UltraMagnus3786
I weirdly get a Gigantor vibe from the last picture. Interesting art though, paint me intrigued.
Chopperface
Indeed, looks loads better than what Furman and Magno have been spitting out with Nefarious and Tales of the Fallen. Especially with all those errors in the final issue of Nefarious.
Oh, how much I miss Alex Milne's movie-verse work. Come back, Milne. Please.
So a much more… "feathery" back panel Jetfire in the past, and a Decepticon-like organic skull???
We know so little about the plot this time around, and less than what we knew by this point with ROTF last time. I don't know what to make of it.
Biotoakid
I think Nefarious had detail a bit up to high, and shades a bit to low :/
flamingunicron
agreed artwork looks so much better then Nefarious
SilverOptimus
Artwork looks brilliant.
