TFW2005 has received previews of the All Hail Megatron exclusive alternative covers for issues 12 and 13. Issue 12 is exclusive to Apocalypse Comics. Issue 13, meanwhile, is exclusive to Auto Assembly, the UK’s largest Transformers convention. Issue 13 is only going to be sold to attendees and will have a limited run of 1’000 copies, as revealed in this article on Transformers @ The Moon! Click the thumbnails to check them out.

^^
Sah-nap.
But seriously, the Spider-man cover is lame.

I was about to write something but your signature covers it really.

Overreaction much?

Originality is dead. Why design a fresh new cover when you can lazily copy one from the past and just say it's an homage? Making a Megatron version of the Spider-Man cover is as poor taste as a rapper "sampling" Barry White for some song about killing cops and raping women. Tacky and offensive.

say, how long are the all hail megatron series going to last?

I wish I could read these.

Can't wait to read these.

Cool references. I kinda like it when they do these sort of things with comic book covers.
the cameo of Gregg Berger on the Grimlock one is a nice touch. Especially that he's got a crown on his shirt. lol
Bahamut Prime
Cool Spider-Man and Jurassic Park homages!
Cloudraker
Grimlock? Isn't that Cybertron Megatron?
Either way, I like the Spider-man homage cover more.

I've been a big opponent of All Hail Megatron, BUT THOSE COVERS ROCK!
Is Megatron sad because of the death of Gwen Stacy?
Foster
They just think he's cosplaying.

The megatron one just doesn't work as an homage to me… it doesn't really make sense conceptually compared to the OG.
this looks like "i lost my fusion cannon and i'm going home!"
it's a decent recreation though.
the Grimlock Jurassic Park one is awesome, but i agree it seems like the patrons should be a little more terrified

Guy with the beard = Gregg Berger!

Yeah, how come it gets front page coverage when it comes from Apocalypse, but the Auto Assembly convention exclusive cover (which has been on here as a news story for a couple of days now) doesn't get any mention at all?
The cover for Issue #13 (the Jurassic Park homage) will only be on sale at Auto Assembly 2009 and sales will be restricted to 2 copies per attendee as I revealed in the interview over at Transformers – More Than Meets The Eye, Robots In Disguise – Transformers @ The Moon – http://www.transformertoys.co.uk when we first revealed the cover image and as the print run is limited to 1,000 we don't expect any copies to be left after the convention.

j.a.f.o.
Far be it from me to criticize–since I can't draw for beans–but:
Foreground Megatron looks really stiff in his walking pose.
It's kind of weird to me how everyone in the Jurassic Park homage is not terrified of the fact that a giant-ass robot dinosaur is trouncing around (even the guy with the goatee has a "yeah whatever" expression).
Still, both are very cool.
Lumpy
wow, i really dig both of those…doubt i'll hunt them down though…but maybe…

ASM #50 homage = AWESOME!
