Mastermind Creations has released pictures for their next figure in their Reformatted series. This time, we have Spartan, a beautiful looking homage to the Wrecker, Impactor. These pictures give us a first look at the figure in color and according to retailers he will be available in third quarter this year. This figure will be sharing a design with Mastermind’s “Commotus” their version of Turmoil from the IDW comics.
Take a look at the pics and join the discussion after the jump.

I have the Commotus/Turmoil version of this mold and love it to death. He is definitely fun to transform and pose. Even tech-lined the rest of mine in a matching bright blue to the few lines he already had (wasn't enough on the original), and he really pops!
Gepard
Yeah, he's got a super fun transformation.

The transformation is pretty satisfying and I am rewarded with a super fun-looking tank mode!
My only complaint is I am disappointed in myself for not picking this figure up sooner, lol.
Now I really want the now fabled MMC Commotus/Turmoil.

Still one of the very best MMC products

Re-reading Last Stand of the Wreckers in recent weeks, I went what the hell, went for it, and got MMC Spartan!
I haven't transformed him yet, but he feels and looks absolutely fantastic in-hand so far!
Years ago I told myself I would be fine with the "IDW" Impactor from the Hasbro fan-vote 3-pack, lol, what the hell HunterGreen2005.

Heylo, could I get a comparison picture of Spartan with Siege Springer and any other wreckers of your choosing? I know that’s not the Springer comparison people usually ask for but it’s the one I need. Thanks!

I just couldn't resist, when saw it first time.

I too would like a Comotus reissue, or a repaint of that scuplt- hell even one with an alternate head the same sculpt as Spartan's.. Give him a red cape, a spear and a golden shield BAM! 300 cross over. I mean hasbro are doing crossovers, and MMC have done RatBatman already sooo.. Why not?
One day… One bloody day. I never thought I'd miss the days when we only had to worry about toys getting scalped.
Rightt? Me neither, I never thought that people would miss something so… Blatantly there?
That group is looking sharp!
Boy, do I regret not getting that Primal Prime tho… Couldn't justify the space/money he required compared to how much I know the character. Ah well, maybe I'll get to tracking one down sometime? Ha
KveTar
Heeeeeeeeey! Indeed. I never noticed, how much pics were posted here with that part mistransformed. Mine's correct, btw.

Can't say I'd buy a reissue of Impactor, but I'd open my wallet for Commotus so fast you'd think I'd managed to snag a PS5.

Well, in your defense they do blend into the bottom of his legs pretty well, they kind of just look like his legs. Also he has the toe joints so you might have just used those for putting him in a walking sort ot stance or what have you.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend gluing them in, I know people have but there is no need to, on mine I know if I "hook" them into the tab, from the bottom towards his forearms they hold on super securely, and never ever come off unintentionally. You don't just push them on, you sort of slide/pull them up at an angle, before pushing them on. If that makes sense?
Why the yellow peg though? It feels like the most redundant thing ever when he's transformed, his arms feel solid. A part of me wonders if anyone would have even cared if he wouldn't have included it.
He means theses, the vent looking pieces that swivel back and forth just above his feet. That in photos people have left them all the way down, instead of lifting them up so the figure can stand normally/more straight up.

I just don't understand, what part is misstransformed? Maybe a pic, please? "Wrong" and "wright".
MadMaximus
I did that immediately, same with the small yellow peg that plugs the arms together
Roadbuster25
yes, I don't know how I didn't catch that. It seems so obvious. Did anyone try super glueing the shovel parts on the back of his arms?
