Just wondering if you guys will be getting this. I don't play many racing games (I do have Burnout Paradise however), but this just looks too awesome and I'm contemplating picking it up. I also heard that they will have free DLC on its launch date on 10/27.
^Classic car pack. I am giving a serious consideration, but I probably won't be getting it at launch. Give it some time. I'll probably pick up the Collector's Edition as well.
Same here. I loved Forza 2 and have been playing the hell out of the Forza 3 demo. This is gonna be a great game.
Have the CE payed off. I'll be there day one to curse at all the chumps online that just wreck through everything.
I'd love to get the collector's edition but it's too expensive for me, so I'll settle for the regular edition probably.

Turn10 and Microsoft really have their way with exclusives. I am not making a mistake and definitely getting the Collector's Edition when I get the game. I can't live without those 5 collector's cars...
Well, another bonus of the CE is that you get VIP membership. This supposedly gets you free cars, tunes, graphics, and other content on a monthly basis.
I rented it . my luck seems to be good lately for that. just gonna give some quick thoughts on it. the visuals are gorgeous. the drifting is hard its very easy to spin out and im usually very very good with controlling a drift. damage is terrible thats my main gripe I hit another car at over 150 mph and all it did was ding up my front end a little. yea cars can be flipped but it doesnt feel realistic. overall id say its an awesome game though they just need to tweek the damage levels to that of GRID and itll be perfect oh and another thing when you choose your first car it doesnt give you any stats on the cars at all but I think there free anyways I chose a Chevy Aveo its actually pretty competitive. and the game has trucks and SUVs (idk why I know ill never use em unless forced to) edit: oh yea that 2nd disc thing isnt really that important it doesnt add much as far as ive seen I cant DL the over 1gb worth of stuff my system only has 200mb on it lol. but yea so far it only adds maybe 15-20 cars and maybe 3 extra tracks
actually i believe the second disc adds 100 cars or so... thoroughly enjoying it, started with Fiesta, then whooped up with the Scirocco until I bought my Camaro SS. hotness.
im just going by what it shows and tells me is on the 2nd disc every car thats locked for me if I click on them it tells me to DL the 2nd disc I wish I could use it but Hard Drives are so expensive
