[This is an] easy modification, and I think this looks a lot better than his original bird legs. The downside is the loss of the rear landing gear, and the green color is a touch darker than the green on his shoulders:

Step 1: Remove legs from Generations "Fall of Cybertron" Brawl (US release):




Step 2: Attach legs on Springer:




Step 3: Stiffen up feet from Brawl with superglue for more stable stance.

Note: After doing this small mod, you will have two extra 5mm holes to store the sword or whatever you like:
