Urg. As I said on the video I don't know if I should go for this guy or wait for a rerelease. I don't collect the black repaints of Prime but somehow I can see that color scheme just "fitting in" and I could pretend that's he's just a black Prime like G2. I love the mold, but I passed on it because of the issues in build. Now that I know most of them are fixed I'm back at a crossroads. The awesome transformation sequence in the video did not help things. You make things way too entertaining.

Also Vangelus, you are a destroyer of wallets. I think I see it shudder in the corner of my eye every time I load up one of your videos.

Dangit! If this was just a repaint, I would have passed. I thought I could say "a sword is not enough" and passed. But they did so much more! If they've really accomplished all that, this is the sort of thing that put them in that second tier of 3rd party toys (i.e. not FansProject, but pretty damn good)

Transformation sequence = win. You're king of reviewers, no contest.

I wrote and spoke the dialogue myself after I read up on the backstory MMC created for the figure.

Can you swap in the blue lightpiping and transparent chest piece from the first release? I'm very tempted to get this guy, given the improvements, but I'd like to use him as a color-accurate steampunk Prime.

Very cool idea, I hadn't thought of that. :D

Swapping the lightpiping in the robot head is outside of my ability (it's glued, not screwed), but...

And you probably could swap in the Commander head for blue eyes, if you don't mind the skull itself not being black.

I have been debating for some time about if I should order this mold when I get extra cash, but thanks to this video, my mind is made up, and hopefully this guy will be under my Christmas tree.

Van, one question: I have been a big fan of your reviews always, but I am wondering: how come after review 118 (tracks), it skips to 121-R? I can't find 119 and 120... I want to watch if you made some!

This is one of the greatest reviews I've ever watched (the part with Stealth Force Megatron was hilarious) and will be the only reason I ever buy a 3rd party toy.

Vangelus reviews toys other than Transformers occasionally, so if there's missing numbers, that's probably what they were.

I wonder if I could just pry it out with an X-acto knife. Also, I forgot about the other transparent parts in his chest. I suppose I'll have to try disassembling mine to see if it's possible to get those out too.

Yeah, I know that. But I watch all his reviews, as a lot of his other reviews such as Revoltech, Robot Spirits, etc I collect as well.

    I just don't see 119 and 120 though.

This one is slightly out of order and a -R review. Regular numerical operations and synchronicity will resume eventually. ;)
