Hey I placed an order on Feb 24th paid via paypal. Got an "order recieved" email from Jessica @ reprolabels on Feb 28th and since then i have not heard from them since then. I just recently sent a 2nd email w/ my paypal receipt asking what's the deal and no word yet.

Is anyone else having problems w/ reprolabels within the past month or know what's up w/ them? This is only the 2nd time i ordered from them and the first time it took about 3 weeks before i got anything too but at least they sent me an "order sent" email after 4 days.

Reprolabels doesn't tend to keep sticker sets premade in a file. Each set is printed and cut after they are ordered, in the order they are received and larger orders take longer. Also there is that whole shipping from Canada thing, which adds more time.

All be it, yea they could improve on their customer relations, but personally, I've never had a serious problem they didn't fix and I've made plenty of orders from them over the years.

    my mini-rant

Well it looks like I finally got an "Order sent please wait a week" email from Jessica. Geez I swear these guys have crappy customer service. No "sorry we messed up and didn't bother to say anything until you sent 2 emails asking."

I definately give them props on their quality of work which is why I ordered from them a second time but the lack of empathy and customer satisfaction from reprolabels makes me wonder if they even give a crap about their customers?

    -=Flashback to the 1st time I ordered from them....=-
I ordered some stickers back in late December '08 and after 2 weeks I still didn't get my order. So I sent an email asking what's the deal and Jessica pretty much just said, "It's been sent already and we had 3 holidays so FU" No "Sorry for the inconvenience, but we did have x amount of holidays which could explain the delay. Please be patient."

So after reading her email, I was thinking, "Damn that was a bit rude and straight to the point." But when I finally got the stickers, I was impressed by the quality and they did add some of those silver faction symbols. (From their current promotion)
    -=End flashback=-

So because of the quality of work, I considered them buying from them a second time. But geez, work on that customer service Reprolabels. Don't say "It'll take a week" when it clearly doesn't or add an asterisk saying it will take longer shipping to the USA. Also, work on that customer service empathy.

I concur that they should keep valued customers in the loop more.

On the other hand, they're awesome and have the market cornered, so whatcha gonna do?

I find it's best just to forget that you placed and order with them and then enjoy the pleasant surprise when your order shows up in the mail. ;)

Reprolabels seem to get overwhelmed with orders really easily, and that's possibly why not too great replying to email also. That's possibly harshest thing I can say about Reprolabels.

I have ordered from them about two dozen times, sometimes I get orders really quickly (bearing in mind I live on the opposite side of the Atlantic), but sometimes it can take a month or two, but they've always came through for me.

My most recent order was about three weeks late, but in retrospect I did kinda make a large purchase that looks like it took a while to make, and the stickers couldn't be better. In fact, I was surprised to get 4 sheets of the free movie decals from the promotion, as I thought it was only one per order if it's $15 or more.

Sure it took a while, but really, for a place that has an almost litteral monopoly on the replacement sticker market, they are very reasonable about it and offer much needed products in the best quality they can rather then offering crap. I will be making more orders from them in the future, that's for sure!

This. I've been through the worrying over an order placed eons ago, but they always eventually come through. Once they shipped me someone else's order several weeks after I placed my order, and they let me keep the wrong stickers and sent the right ones out asap, so I got a free set of movie upgrade stickers and my slight frustration melted away.

Better service is much anticipated, but the product is great, so they've got me either way.

It's on their website I believe that it does take a while to fill orders, I just recently ordered from them and after about 3-3 1/2 weeks they came in. You also gotta remember that they are shipping out of Canada so take customs and border crossing in with that also.

Other wise top notch sticker and when they are applied they are on there I tell ya, and it will take a bit to get them off without ruining the sticker.

They're a small operation getting a lot of orders, if they were bigger, i.e. more staff/equipment=more wages/costs, the stickers would cost WAY more.

They provide a valuable service, just takes patience and a bit of faith, they will come through.

I've used them a few times, with arrival varying by a month or so, but they've all got here.

A technique I also employ. It works with preorders as well, I'm constantly getting stuff I've forgotten about! Got Henkei Ratchet today which was a surprise, only ordered him two nights ago as well :drunk

I just ordered repro labels for darkwing and dreadwind 2 days ago and I received an email today from Jessica that they are shipping and I will have them in about a week. I just wanted to give a good statement about them.

I always wondered what the quality of them was like, can you tell the difernce easily? I bought a G1 Scourge off ebay and the stickers were on a completely different kind of paper to the G1`s

You might want to wait until you actually have them in hand. I must say that the quality of their stickers is top notch, but the customer service is, er, somewhat less.

I placed three orders with them. The first two were great, and arrived promptly without a hitch. The third one was the problem. I kept getting emails saying different things -- "Your order has shipped", "Your order will ship this week", etc. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. I finally told them if they didn't arrive soon, I'd need to dispute the order with paypal since we were getting to the end of the buyer protection period (we're talking 40 days here). Without telling me what was going on, they refunded my money. Finally the stickers showed up and I paid them when they arrived. Left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but like everyone has said, their stickers really are top-notch.

There have been studies (real, rigorous academic studies, not "hey man, I asked 10 people...") that show that people are much more willing to put up with waiting and delays if there is at least a small amount of communication. Further, if left to themselves, people feel that the perceived wait was much much longer than the actual wait. Whatever time was spent sending out "Sorry for the delay, we are getting crushed by orders right now" would be more than made up for in goodwill. A customer base that buys from you only grudgingly is ripe for the picking. So there's my unsolicited two cents!

I love reprolables. I have ordered a ton of things from them over the years. The most recent was just last month and I have gotten them already.

Thier quality is top notch. I used them for my g1 dinobots and they worked out great.

They do tend to be slow to ship, but I have found if I send them an email after a few weeks I usually get a response fast and then the stickers arrive a little later.

I can only say good things about theese guys. They have never disappointed me, and really I have never NEEDED to have stickers to put on my toys the next day anyway, I can wait.

The colors are a bit different from the original stickers (example: reprolabels for G1 Prowl's doors have brighter blue shields then the original stickers), and the paper they print on is usually a bit thicker then what Hasbro used.

I think the thread Foster quoted says it all, but in the way of an update...

All orders will have been sent by the end of this week-end. We are more caught up now than we have been in two years, so I hope you can forgive our poor service in the past, but we are really stepping things up around here.

I think it was maybe a week after I placed an order before I got an e-mail saying my order had shipped.

took me a month and a half to get my order, but it did eventually come. Like the above mentioned, emails take weeks to get a reply to, but the will get back to you eventually. I don't think they've EVER not sent an order that was placed, but they do take a very long time sometimes.

but like others have said, they make an amazing product, the price is right. even if it does take a month or two to get your sickers, it's still worth it :)

I received my labels yesterday in the mail.. like promised by Jessica. Just wanted to post it. They had to have them in stock to fill it that quickly. But she did communicate with me and return all emails.
