I think Windcharger's been pulled off of HTS...

 

Well if it's discontinued, why would it stay up on the site?

 

I've been counting that as a rumor. Is it true that people who ordered him have had their orders cancelled?

 

My has been cancelled.

 

Found wheeljack, thundercracker, and warpath at fullerton TRU. Will post pic when I get home.

I bought them all so don't go rushin to check!

God damnit, I knew I should've gone to sleep earlier last night. =/

I had thought you generally weren't available on Thursday mornings, at 9am no less. But we should plan out for next week, more people.

Ok, so here's my story of today. I got to TRU at 8:58 thanks to a truck getting off at the same exit costing me 4 precious minutes! TRU is already open and I'm thinking my hopes of finding anything are none. I rush over to the boys section and I see 4 or 5 scalpers all congregating around the Marvel Universe. Did they get the new Apocalypse wave? I don't know (though I don't think so). So I slip by unnoticed to the TFs. The pegs are empty! An employee walks by and ask if I needed help. I politely ask if they got more deluxes today. He goes through the boxes on the ground and opens it up. As he does, I see the tailfin of Thundercracker...I knew it was good. Then to my surprise, WARPATH!!! I took out Scourge and put him on the shelf then walked off. But right before that, I saw the scalper grab the Scourge.

As I checked out, all the scalpers basically finished their "shopping". And here's the scalper quote: "They got Warpath, too? I was wondering why I only got 1 [Scourge]."

Anyway, prices are up to 13.99!!!! I'm offering the extras at cost which is $15.

Nice find, dude. You will LOVE Warpath. I love me some blockformer, and he is molto bene. I was also impressed with Wheeljack, and Thundercracker is a much appreciated addition to my collection.

But Warpath is as addictive as Lugnut.

I'm not a huge fan of Tank Tranformers, with the exception of Megatron/Galvatron (I know Galvatron mold sucked), but maybe Warpath will change that?

I'm still pondering getting a Lugnut, he's growing on me. But I can't get myself to get it off HTS (when he was in stock), but I can pull the trigger on deluxes off HTS easily...

 

Let us know if he does. I'm curious about how powerful Warpath's appeal can be.

 

Hmm...actually hearing your story, it may've been good if I wasn't there. The bald white dude knows me for sure by now, if he had spotted me, he probably would've gone for the TFs instead of MU.

 

He had a stack of Marvel Universe in his arms when I walked by. He's "the friendly neighborhood scalper" that I keep quoting. I think he knows me too, he knows I go at Marvel and then TFs just like him. But he probably doesn't fear me cuz, well I'm not a big guy and he's been beating me to crap the past 2 months!

I sure showed him! Take my Kup and Scourge way back in February, will ya? I raise ya Wheeljack, Thundercracker, and Warpath.

Nothing today... kinda funny there were a lot of clearance items at the two Targets i went to today... I'm thinking they're clearing house for next months movies releases. Sucks! All I want is Grapple! Ok and a Windcharger and Rumble, but I know that online only. I'm think the same with Grapple.

 

Inspired by the above story I just went to check TRU in Mission Viejo (I have an off day today woohoo!). Alas none of the new guys but there was Kup x2 and Scourge x1. I hid them behind Tuner Mudflaps/ROTF peg. I can't believe they are $13.99 now, ouch. More expensive than BBTS! Also saw 2x Iron Man War Machine 6" for $17.99 - also ouch. Decided to pass/wait for HTS sale.

Also on the rumor that Windcharger was *maybe* at Kohl's, I checked 2 local Kohl's this week and nothing new. One in Irvine was the most pathetic toy section I've seen, not a single TF. The other had tons of HTFD and 1 RTS.

EDIT: One Target I visited this week had the old PCC shelfwarmers on clearance for $6.98. Even at that price I wasn't even tempted. How will they move these old figs out in a month?
