For those who haven't seen episode 26 yet and don't want to be spoiled, turn back now!

Okay, so after watching the season 1 finale, what do you guys think/hope that will happen in season 2?

Here are a few thoughts:

-With Optimus/Orion gone for the moment, the Autobots will need someone to lead them. Personally, I hope Optimus stays away for at least a few episodes, so someone else might step in to take over command (temporarily). What about Ironhide? Wasn't he going to get a toy? This could be the perfect moment to bring him in. Maybe he could even bring someone with him like Jazz, Warpath or maybe just bring back Wheeljack.

-To me it is pretty clear that Jack will be the one to bring Optimus back. Optimus didn't give him the Key to Vector Sigma for no reason. He probably knew what was going to happen and also knew what could reverse it. The only question is: "Why Jack?"

-With June being at the base this much lately and her car being destroyed, how about finally teaming her up with Ratchet?

-It's been a while since Starscream has been in the picture, so I expect him to return fairly soon in season 2. I only hope he summons the Seekers to aid him. Thundercracker and Skywarp would be a nice addition to the cast.

-Now that it has been established that Megatron named himself after one of the original 13 Primes, I suspect The Fallen to be introduced somewhere near the end of season 2.

-I wonder if The Matrix is completely extinguished and if it will return alongside Optimus' memories or not...


Okay, these are a few things I was thinking about. What do you guys think will happen in season 2?

 

As someone posted before, the Key to Vector Sigma is one of the most important artifacts from Cybertron, something OP won´t really wanted to see in Megatron´s hand. If Optimus would have given the key to Ratchet, his old friend would have guesses Optimus´s intention of not returning alive from the Core, thus he chose Jack (who, at this point, can be described almost as a human version of Orion Pax).


As for me, I reaaaaally want to see MECH stepts from the shadows.

 

The only thing I really want to see is how Optimus/Orion gets his memories back

 

they said, despite he's getting a toy, there are no actual plans for have him in the show "yet"

 

I'm hoping that Optimus/Orion doesn't get his memories back and he's forced to rebuild his knowledge of what happened by interacting with the other Autobots and humans. Not only would his sacrifice in One Shall Rise have more meaning due to its permanence, it would provide tremendous opportunities for character interaction and growth as Orion tries to become what he was in the first season. Like how Rodimus lived in Optimus's shadow, Optimus would be living in the shadow of his own legacy. On top of that, it would be a second chance for him to rebuild his life; as Optimus, he was never happy, but with the reset, he could build a new life. He might even become a different man than he was during Season One, which would be an excellent time to show off Peter Cullen's acting ability.

And this is all after he returns to the Autobots. Megatron's evil could have another facet demonstrated as he lies to Orion in order to manipulate the wayward man: Megatron could twist the truth, saying that the Autobots brainwashed him into fighting for them for years, which would explain Orion's Autobot symbol, why he was fighting on their side, and why all the other Decepticons seem so nervous around him.

This even has the potential for comedy as well, with awkward moments between Orion and the Vehicons, or Orion and Knockout, thanks to the irony of the guy who rampaged through their base now trying to be their friend, without a clue in the world.

Played right, this move would be a stroke of pure genius by the writers, and would actually fulfill their promises of Optimus's character development in Season Two being worth the wait. I just hope to God that they don't resolve this with the Key to Vector Sigma.

 

We will get a few new Autobots and WJ will be back in more of a solid role. With the rumor of a combiner making its way into the Prime cartoon and the disappearance of Starscream, just maybe we will get starscream's brigade lol. We will see Megatronus and other Primes in the cartoon and not as flashbacks. And the Matrix can not be destroyed.

 

I am hopeful that The Fallen will come into play. Love the character and idea and design but he was REALLY wasted in ROTF. He deserves another try at being awesome.

To tell you the truth, it would be difficult not to be; I love the Bayverse despite its flaws, but I will go to hell before I say that the Fallen wasn't one of RotF's many flaws.

 

I love if they did this. I hope they do. It would be interesting and fun to watch, not to mention emotional.

 

Yeah, "YET" is a huge word my friend.

I hope Optimus doesnt get his memories back for a few eps. I wanna see him chill on the Decepticon ship for awhile. It might be amusing.  

 

Yeah! I want to see his noblity weird the Decepticons out, showing their awkwardness to such niceness. XD

 

lol I would like to see Optimus Prime(Orion Pax) be like "I live to serve you Megatronus(Megatron)" lol Or SoundWave be all suspicios.

I have a good feeling the Key of Vector Sigma will give Orion his memory back.
But then again....

This would be cool to see.
Orion better watch out..... Knockout may hit on him...  

 

Maybe Orion will figure this out for himself. According to the Exodus book, Orion is very curious and that nature should help him figure somethings out. But Megatron would probably answer it all away. Although Airachnid could still be in a foul mood what with her shortened role as Commander... Anything can happen.

I would love to see this!   Or some kind of interaction with Knockout, cant ignore that "sweet rims" comment he made awhile back.

 

OMG! He was just trying to get Primes attention as Breakdown ambushed him. Y'know, I'm actually surprised that Fanfiction.net isn't flooded with this kinda fanfiction.

This is the biggest mixup since BW Megatron called Tarantulas 'The Spawn of Unicron!'
