Every thread I've seen tfprime32 make has already existed. Either something's fishy or he ain't searching the threads.

As for the actual topic of this thread, based on the budget this show already has, and being on a channel not a lot of people have, I doubt there will be a theatrical release. It'll probably be a straight-to-DVD or made for television release.

Honestly I just don't see it happening.

To go with a theatrical release you'd need some sort of story that you just can't tell on the regular series. Given that the series is willing to tackle topics like death and the series doesn't mind telling a story over several episodes there doesn't seem to be much they could not do in an animated movie that they can't do already.

I, and many other people, have always said one thing: Prequel. We know that something happened three years prior to Prime starting, but we don't know exactly what happened.

We only know three things about what happened three years ago:

    1. The Autobots arrived on Earth
    2. The Autobots shacked up with the US Government and got a deserted Military Silo to use as a headquarters
    3. It was the last Decepticon incident

A prequel could explore what exactly happened three years ago, and, in doing so, could provide a jumping on point for new fans. Paramount and Dreamworks could also use a Prime movie as a way to build hype for next Live Action Transformers movie, by attaching a trailer for it at the end of the Prime movie and by keeping Transformers in the public consequence.

Anyways, as far as I'm concerned, a prequel is the only way to go for a Prime movie.

I think the TF universe is ripe for some direct-to-DVD stories like DC has been doing. Whether they are all in the Prime universe or other continuities, I think there is a market for well done one-off animated TF stories.

Being overly optimistic, it would be nice to have but I don't think it would happen.

I would like to see it happen at some point later after the TV series takes a dive.

I'd love to see a movie, but I already said that months ago on another thread..you seem to have a habit of posting things everyone has already known about. Search the threads before you post please!

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, I'd love to see a movie. It'd be quite interesting to see it on the big screen, although it'd probably be animated I'd still watch it :)  But it would be a while if it does happen, it's just that not a lot of people watch TFP and know the characters and the basic gist of whats going on. So they won't be able to relate to the characters as much as they have with the Live Action movies.

If a fourth live action movie is delayed for some reason, I reckon Hasbro will commission one to fill the gap and maintain presence and interest in the brand.

I can see it happening akin to the Clone Wars Movie that was released to launch that series. A special event that get's a limited release and ties into the show.
