then it looks like FP learned and did not order a bajallion of the figures like they did with blastcharge...

that will probably drive up the value on the 2014 custom figure then.

Ok I found all of the paint online here: Hobbylinc.com - Discount Hobbies up to 60% off

All except for the off white... Where do you find that? What's a good substitute at this site? I, gonna try to paint this guy up. I hope it's not too hard while still assembled...

Also looking for advice on what kind of brushes to get (preferably at the same site)... or anything else I may need. I see a lot of small details, especially in the face, that I can't see how to paint without a mess.

The Vallejo Off White can be found at Hobby Lobby.

What about brushes? Some of those little parts on the face look scary to paint. What would be the best?

The brushed we (and I) used were a three-pack found also at Hobby Lobby for $1.99. They are in the section with the paints for traditional "canvas" painting, and have yellow handles. My recommendation for painting small details is to use a decent brush with a point. DON'T get the white-handled/black bristled Testor's ones as you won't be able to paint ANYTHING tiny. Get synthetic bristles, not natural. Acrylic paints flow better with synthetic bristles. Long story short, you don't need expensive tools, just the right ones.

I came back from Hobby Lobby frustrated. They only had 4 of the 7 paints I needed. I couldn't find the brushes and couldn't find the Vallejo paints at all... The employees were less than helpful. I left with nothing...

Actually had no idea it was supposed to be primal prime lol.. Seeing these painted pictures for the first time, now. I picked mine up at botcon and the first thing I said was "sweet! Burning convoy!". The colors work for pp, I guess, but he'll always be burning convoy in my mind xD

Not all of the Model Master Acryls colors are carried at Hobby Lobby. A Hobbytown USA should have them, or can order them if they Don't have them. A few locations do carry Vallejo now also, but not many.

Thanks for all of your help. I'm likely going to just order what I need online, since stores around here don't have what I need.

In the future, I hope you can make one page pdf documents with instructions for those who can't attend the class.

    Thanks again!
    Chris
