Tigertracks face looks more like cartoon Sideswipe because of the square eyes. I'm tempted to get Tigertrack just to swap his head with Sideswipe and swap the white thighs with Red Alert. Hmmm decisions, decisions.

I wish the Tigertrack autobot symbol had the white outline like the regular Sideswipe. I don't think it looks as sharp with just the red on yellow. Face difference is negligible to me.

 

The most noticable difference is with the eyes, which you can't really see in this picture.

 

This is idiocy on the part of Takara, give stickers to the MP!

One of those Japanese white backed stensil stickers might suit the toy better than a clear back one does.

 

This actually works well, as I've always imagined Tigertrack to be a more stoic character, while Sideswipe is an over confident cavalier. I cant wait to have this guy in hand, as I used to have an original Diaclone yellow sideswipe as a kid.

 

I'm ok with merging threads since the other dude had an earlier thread, but I was the one who pointed the head sculpt details from Hasui's Twitter. Credit where is due, please.

First masterpiece pre order that I caneled in a long time. This figure is this a lazy piece of junk.

 

Only in your opinion, as in my eyes it is replacing something very special to me from my childhood that was stolen. In my eyes it's perfect.

 

Thank goodness I'm not the only one.
