the prime toys that are in the display case looked great (not really feeling the lower arms on the deluxe optimus though. BB, Arcee and Starscream looked awesome.

Some good movie stuff comign out soon. We're getting a HA scout class Reverb, which looks pretty nifty. i'm undecided on DOTM HA Leadfoot. Leader Ironhide looks great. I'm most excited for Hasbro MP rodimus though

Will there be any new pics today or are we just about done?

 

I'm hoping we at least get pictures of that Voyager Ironhide repaint (it was said he would be put out). Though I also wouldn't mind if we also got pictures of Deluxe wave 5 and the Twin Twist & Leadfoot 2-pack.

If not, oh well. Was still a good Botcon, especially for TFP fans like myself. I'm already psyched for SDCC, lol.

 

I'm thinking we already got all we're gonna get. We might get that Ironhide repaint out, or at least I hope so since they said it would be on display, but I'm thinking that's it. Almost everything else was either hush-hushed by Paramount (Wave 6 DOTM) or only in the prototype stage (Prime Voyagers and Wave 3+). Not the best Botcon, but it's always been like this on movie years, hasn't it? In any case, please Hasbro, PROVE ME WRONG AND MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A FOOL!

Blue (bluish grey, TBE) is not necessarily the only G1 accurate color. In about half the scenes in TFTM and in the flashback in Call of the Primitives, Unicron appears to have a flat grey coloration (just like the Takara version).

I personally do like the bluish gray version a little better, but the red highlights really bother me.

What's with the 'First Edition' on the Prime boxes? Is this going to be like the first day of release stickers for SW?

 

Not really sure, tbh. As far as I can tell it wasn't something brought up during the panel yesterday. Hopefully it's something they talk about at SDCC. If it turns out to be something more than "ooh shiny text" I might get a copy of all three of them to keep MOSC. Though if all it truely mean's is shiny text, I'll probably just get Bee and Arcee, and wait to get Starscream's Voyager (assuming plan's don't change and he doesn't happen for some reason).

I'm beginning to hope that they have plans for that extra space at the bottom of the card bubbles. These first three have "display stands" included with them, but I can see a BAF piece fitting in that space nicely (even with the cheap cardboard stand still in it's place). I'm not sure how likely it is to happen, but a TFP BAF would be epic, imho. Most especially if it was a

They come with stands? Neat, not the sort of thing you usually see Hasbro doing.

 

Yeah, you can see the side of the bubbles in this picture, and it says "includes display stand!". They're nothing more than the cardboard on the inside of the bottom of the bubbles, but it's still something they don't normally do.

 

Ravenxl7, that would actually get me to buy the toys. as is, since I don't have the Hub, I'm not too attatched to them. Although I do love the way that Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Megatron look.

 

Well BB and Cliffjumper are pretty much bought but I still would love to know if they are the same sizes as the other deluxes.

 

Man, I am really looking forward to the Rescue Bots figures. They will be perfect for my youngest and have a great look.

 

Say, was it ever said when Deluxe Wave 5 and Voyager Wave 4 for DOTM will be released?
