Some of TFC designs here look pretty cool though.

 

I don't know, these all seem sort of pointless to me. Not sure why I would want my Ghost Starscream to have coronation gear... or why I'd want G1 characters turned into Targetmasters (though I will admit that the little guys are kind of adorable). If anything, I think I'd prefer just a set of random, individualized Classics-style Targetmasters, so that not every Classic TM custom had to use Cyclonus' weapon.

I guess the mini-Shockwave makes a nice complement to the mini non-Transformable Megs that comes with MP Prime, but it's still not something for which anyone seemed to be clamoring.

Ah well, just not for me, I guess. Though I guess I might consider the TM set if it were competitively priced, just for the novelty of it.

 

Here I was hoping someone would do a Classics Firebolt to go with Rodimus...

Fortunately, I had not invested my money yet. I'm still waiting on a check from the IRS. Even if it were to show up tomorrow, I'd hold off til I see a gun mode pic of this thing. The bot mode looks a bit better than mine with more detail and articulation, but we haven't seen the gun mode yet. I can't see how that thing can transform into a gun that looks anything at all like Megs G1 gun mode. I may have them beat there. If so, I'll seek a cheaper way to do smaller production runs. More time consuming, but a much smaller investment on my part thus reducing the risk. Let the market decide who's is better.

Well, FP is making one to go along with the Protector armor. But yeah, I'm kinda surprised at the lack of Targetmasters too. With Blur, Kup, and Scourge coming out, the Targetmasters have nice little are to play with.

Placed preorder at BBTS. At least for the Starscream set. For $12.99, it's not a bad price.

 

I just put PO's down too. Both sets for $26 is fantastic. It's a little strange they weren't one set to being with, but whatever.

 

PO'd the hip cover set. Will make him look cleaner  Don't really care for the weapon and might have interest in Shockwave. I picked up the WST version hoping he could fit in FP's Bruticus' hands. This one might do a better job of that.

the Hotrod targetmaster seems interesting. as hotord was already a micromaster for the 1991 Starconvoy toy.
