The package art for 2010 Primus and Unicron form a complete opposing (creator/destroyer) image.

Should have guessed that Primus was on the horizon when TakaraTomy's site first unveiled Unicron's box art some time back.

Primus's shoulder is visible in the bottom right corner of Unicron's box art.

 

Crap. That alone might motivate me to get both instead of just Primus. My current Unicron can eh.. find a new home?

 

yes thats the only way to make the crappy style boxes look better. i do think this is a great move. now hurry up and put this thing on pre order please! btw is primus the same size as unicron?

Anyway..I definitely want a Primus someday..and this one's deco is alot cooler than the original one..I'm just not sure if I will be able to get him this time around..but I did preorder Unicron!

I was tempted to get Primus the first time he came out, but didn't (I pretty much only do MP/ALternity/BT and some of the better movie stuff- and I still have too many).

I'm even more impressed/tempted this time.

Probably still won't get him, but he's only better than last time around!

 

I don't own either, but from my memories of seeing them in stores when they were first out I'd say they have to be close.

 

I was aware of the "battle station mode", it was listed on the box or instructions for Primus, can't remember which though, but what the hell is that other mode? This other intermediate mode is news to me, it looks like he just fell flat on his face.

 

Why does this redeco feel so utterly superfluous and inane to me?

 

from the pics, looks like his eyes light up? do anyone know? btw what exactly is a fair price for this primus? i know we all glady paid 135 or more for the new unicron. so why not for primus? im really debating hard on how much to pay for this primus. i see robot kindom is about 130.00 shipped, tf source is 125.00 not including shipping cost. now bbts has not listed it yet. i might add it to my pile of loot to save on shipping costs, depending on how much they want to charge. do anyone know if primus is a limited run or unlimted run? i might wait on this if they make alot of them just to see if theres any sales on primus. what do you thinks? wait or buy now?

Epic. Doubt I'll pick it up, with all the other stuff I want, but that's very impressive.

 

The blue fists/arms stick like sore thumb in planet mode   Otherwise it look really awesome and I'm tempted to get it despite having the mold already.

so we still dont know if its a limited run? was unicron limited to 2000 something? btw robot kingdom is 130.00 shipped to usa. the only problem is that customs might get your package. its your own risk.

 

Looks really really nice with the metallic paint, but it really needs some red or orange to break up all that blue and gray. Despite its shinyness, its a little bland.

 

I have a feeling it is primarily blue to provide a nice contrast/complement to Unicron, who is primarily orange. They highlight each other.
