Found Rumble, Ravage, and Laserbeak at Target in Lynchburg, VA.

 

My thread is still on page 1, but yours has photos that don't sport a huge "Seibertron.com" watermark, so you win?

That's what I meant, you'd need a second one more than I need a 221st one.  

 

That Rumble looks nice hopefully, we jet Eject and Frenzy.

 

Hey look another set of figures that I will never see at retail! Yeah going to wait for them to go up on Hasbro or something.

Astrotrain hasn't shipped so I now have 24 dollars to hunt these and the deluxes down.

 

Frenzy is what it`s all about for me   plus I`m just counting down the days that we can go a head and get Double cross .... * glee *

 

These waves are coming out fast and uneven. I hope I get to snag these at retail.

 

I'm a little surprised that Hasbro decided to go for both black robots as repaints of this mold. I suppose the red on black Rumble pops better than the blue on blue Frenzy, and Rewind is more of a fan favorite than Eject?

 

Laserbeak needs more red

 

They always do Rewind and not eject for some reason except those data disks.

 

Not interested in any of these except for maybe Rumble.

 

I assume it's the same reason you normally see Rumble - he's the one who has been in more stuff, so has made more of an impact.

I suspect Takara may end up doing a two pack of Frenzy and Rumble. It's making it hard for me to make the call on buying the Hasbro ones online, knowing that is a very real possibility.

 

While the Masterpiece Casseticons are filling these slots nicely for me (including a Laserbeak I managed to win fairly sanely via eBay auction  ), I like what they've done with these retools.

Ravage looks better than Stripes, while Rumble is a very effective retool of Rewind. As another poster noted, Laserbeak could use a bit more red, but it's not a dealbreaker, either.

An aside - while a repaint of Rumble to Frenzy would likely be very difficult due to all the red on Rumble, a spare Rewind can make an effective Eject with enough Testor's plain blue or light blue paint. That said, I'd like to see Hasbro (or Takara, but for wallet's sake, preferably Hasbro) release Eject for those folks who aren't as artistically gifted.

(Not to sound snotty. Eject was my first ever massive repaint project, and while I'm satisfied with the result, he's a bit splotchy in places ...   )

 

Anyone else feel it is a little odd this entire wav of new figures is almost entirely made of three colors? Black and red are the main two with one figure having grey as the second color.

 

I haven't even seen wave 1 in Concord NH yet!! I've had to buy all mine online.

 

One of the Targets in Visalia got wave 2 and totally skipped wave 1.

I want Wheelie dammit! 

 

One of my local Targets in Northwest Houston got a case of wave 2 TR legends in (2 Rumble, 3 Laserbeak, & 3 Ravage). They had a full stock of wave 1 TR legends as well.
