Well I got this idea for a reboot. What if the movie started with a human prototype spaceship crashing on Cybertron?
Two things: 1:I don't like it 2:If it it would take place in 2076 or something....and they would be 23 or something....and Cybertron is like three or four light years from here....when they got to Cybertron....That could be like 90 something or DEAD. so yeah.
And within the crew you would have a group of humans that befriends the Autobots and another groupwho ends up serving the Decetpicons in exchange for riches and wealth when they conquer Earth.
I really like the twist, but I wonder if it wouldn't work better as an animated movie instead of as a live action movie.
two more things: 2.there's no oxygen in space and they don't have unlimeted oxygen in their space suits. 1.they could get shot at a get killed (sorry about the spelling)
What about if we had one of our space time capsules that hit some Cybetron space bridge and made it to Cybertron? Or Cyberton has some sort of Stargate that opens on Earth, and some humans accidentally go through it? There are ways around actual space flight, especially in science fiction. Anyone watch the movie Event Horizon. It's got a neat way with exploring space without the time.
Cybertron has been depicted in many continuities as being human-friendly in terms of atmosphere and environment. Why should this one be any different? As for the second point you raise... you're apparently new to the concept of war.
Yeah, not yet. Let's run this thing into the ground, or gasp, actually surprise the shit out of us by making a great trilogy sequel. A reboot is inevitable, but it'll happen in about 10 years or more, and when the technology has advanced and/or gotten more reasonably priced.
The only downside I see is that the toys would be mostly Cybertronian forms..but then again it might make them design cybertronian forms that are worth a shit. Also, the movie could end with the surviving humans and Bots launching a ship (the Ark to Earth), since Earth is rich in Energon.
