ROTF had the Constructicons in it, but we hardly got to see them shine. I know things are tough now w/ budget, so maybe this is why.
After watching Bonecrusher's character in TF1, I was eager to know how his brothers would turn out on the IMAX, but unfortunately were obviously not a major part of the movie. I am optimistic that this was done on purpose, and they are working out a story to bring them in TF3, w/ a main focus on their characters, along the Dinobots.

Many of you might agree w/ me that Devastator needs to come back, but this time, each component will have a robot mode & an alt mode, the way It hopefully will turn out, if we get this sequel.
-So, if anyone agrees that the designs behind the Constructicons were real nice (Scrapper, Longhaul, Rampage, BOnecrusher, etc.) post your thoughts here.

According to the story, they were responsible for building parts of Cybertron ( might be partly true) , so there is a lot of potential, I'm sure.

What stories can you come up with?

 

1. Bonecrusher's not a Constructicon
2. Devastator with or without bot modes would be nice to return
3. Who gives a shit about the Dinobots they can't be incorperated into the movie.
4. MOAR SOUNDWAVE.

 

Since they've pretty much made more than 60% of the Decepticon army CC's, I would not be surprised if they come back and start more shit in TF3.

 

I support Contructicons, Dinobots, Wreckers and Triplechangers for TF3!

If they were handled in a way that pleased me I'd accept it, but I'm really not looking forward to them. If we had to get an Autobot sub-team I'd much rather have the Wreckers.

I'd like to see some surviving Constructicons. Maybe reform another Devastator from different Constructicons this time.

 

I would like to see the CC's back for #3 with more screen time. Like having them secretly building a new Harvester since Megs now knows about how to create Energon.

 

Actually, Bonecrusher was a constructicon. In the original story of Transformers this dude was, but possiblities of different alt modes are always possible.

 

I like to see The Dinobots in Transformers 3 because we've don't need no sinking clones on Robot Dinosaurs.

 

If the Dinobots are a good idea, I don't know if Bay might accept Dinosaurs as alt modes. Obiously, he will make a big mistake, and change there alt modes to something contemporary.
The wreckers might work then, instead of the Dino's now that I think about it.

But all the effort they put on creating Devs, surely was not meant for just a couple of chep shots in ROTF, we will return & along w/ his counterparts.

You know, I've asked this before, but why is it scorpions and cats are okay modes but dinosaurs suddenly go too far?

I don't particularly want the Dinobots, but at the same time I don't think they're as big as a stretch as people make them out to be. I mean, the Transformers films have always given audiences a lot to accept in the absence of any explanation; this would just be a drop in the bucket. It'd help if they were generically dinosaur-like as opposed to perfect recreations, too.

 

Wouldn't mind the CCs making a comeback, especially if it means Hasbro gets another shot at making a movie Devastator figure that doesn't suck.

Dinobots on the other hand can stay out of the movieverse, at least as far as being DINO bots. Dynobots on the other hand, with some nice military alt modes would be great.

 

dinobots were good in the 80's, but they need to be worked out more if they will be introduced in TF3.
Not sure what alt modes might suit them best, but would really be homage to see them bring down Devastator w/ out human support.

Devastator needs to comeback but more destructible this time.

 

Since Devastator is already dead, I prefer to see Superion vs Menasor in TF3.
I also would enjoy Dinobots vs Insecticons.

Characters for Transformers 3

We all know the research people for all the movies most likely visit sites like these. Maybe we can help them out, since they obviously listen to us the fans, to a certain extent. Let's make a list is the REALISTIC characters that could be possible for TF3 (no dinobots, c'mon really how are they going to explain dinosaurs?) let's start off by the ones we know are still alive and continue from there forward.

AUTOBOTS

Ratchet (Search & Rescue Hummer H2)
RC Sisters (Arcee, Chromia, Moonracer)

Hopefully they can add:
Hotrod (I think they can possibly use a Lamborghini Gollardo for this)
