Hi, I'm writing some articles about the new Transformers 2 film, i've made a list of all the Characters (actual Transformers) that appear in the film. Can anyone confirm if this list is 100% accurate? Thanks for your help!!! Bonecrusher Brawl Breakaway Frenzy Jazz Stinger Wheeljack None of these characters are in the movie/have been hinted at/have been confirmed. Overload and Chromia are missing from the list.
Actually, Frenzy is confirmed (or at least, his still-living head). It's been mentioned in interviews and confirmed in the prequel comics and The Veiled Threat novel that Simmons has stolen Frenzy's head and brought it back online to learn more about Cybertronians so he can find out their plans and weak spots.
I found information about Stinger from a leaked call sheet on the web. This website has a profile for Stinger (its not just one I made up ) Stinger - Transformers Fanon Wiki

Jazz may just be in a flashback maybe. Unless some Autobots crash near the ocean as well or Jazz was never thrown in to the ocean. As for Frenzy I saw a video of him a long time ago I'll see if I can find it.
The only known appearance of Jazz in RotF is when the Constructicons revive Megatron. It's been said that one of the cons crush his corpse underwater. As for Frenzy, the only thing that came close to looking like him is that "pretender" puppet we've seen a while back. Besides that there's no evidence of his return.
Frenzy will be making an appearence. His head (which Simmons is working on) is severed and that is where Simmons gets info on the symbols Sam sees. Lack of Springer equals fail. Robot Heroes and a Movie Legends class. Both series are known to have movie-only characters. That means Springer is in, and when we see him for the first time I will scream "CALLED IT CALLED IT!" in the movie theater. Sure they can throw me out... I will probably be seeing it many times anyway

You may wish to look up the definition of "fanon". Don't trust IMDB for rumors. Anyone can edit it. It's like Wikipedia, but even less trustworthy. (Many people think it's the other way around.)
Since when have Springer and Breakaway been confirmed? Elita-1 makes the most sense to be the 3rd bike, but the name's not confirmed, either. None of them should be on that list until we find out.
that's why I made the comment below about Breakaway and Springer being up in the air, and i thought elita-1 was confirmed in the comics
I also think that Breakaway will be in the movie, he's a character in the video game, and not a drone, so I think that means he may appear in the movie, springer might be Hound instead, who knows but I do think there will be at least one or two extra autobots
