I know there have been several types of this thread, but I'm going to try to do something different.

Should've- Pick a TF from any line that you believe should've been a different size (i.e Movie Blackout should've been a Leader)

Would've- Pick a mold, any mold. It has to be toy that was available at mass retail, and suggest a new paint/tweak to change into another character (i.e Movie Armorhide into Beachcomber



Here's mine:

Should've- WFC Megatron should've got an upgrade to Voyager Class FoC and been tweaked to show off the changes between the two

Would've- FoC Optimus Prime would've made a great Scourge/Nemesis Prime

 

Should've- Beast Wars Transmetal II Megatron should've been the same size class as Optimal Optimus

Would've- Wouldn't it have been great if I came up with a 'would've'?

Can I play again later?

 

Blackout, everybody knows he should be bigger

ROTF Dirge, into G1 Slingshot repaint.

 

Should've - Evasion OP to leader, or Leader OP to voyager

Would've - FE Leader Prime into Rodimus

 

Should've - Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Commander Guzzle to at least Deluxe, if not Voyager. Could maybe use some extra articulation but overall he's a great little figure that could be fun upscaled.

Would've - Revenge of the Fallen Recon Ironhide (the one with all the guns) into Ironfist or Swindle. Either one would make perfect sense to have a crapload of weapons.

 

DotM Voyager class Megatron SHOULD'VE been a Leader class figure.

Prime Voyager Grimwing WOULD'VE made for a good RID Bruticus repaint.

Should have:

i) Leader Class DOTM Megatron
ii) Leader Class Shockwave
iii) Leader Class The Fallen
iv) Leader Class Grimlock's size should have been the same as previous movie Leader Class figure
v) Voyager Class Evasion Optimus Prime should have been Leader Class
vi) CHUG should have been more G1 inspired instead of IDW inspired
vii) CHUG Trailbreaker/Hoist should have been bigger

Would have: movie Dinobots in movie colour accurate colours - I know they look boring but I still...

Can't think of any more for now.

 

A) CHUG Powerglide / Seaspray should have been deluxe size

B) Generations Scourge or Stealth bomber Megatron into Depthcharge instead of Terradive

 

should've Movie Voyager Blackout should have been leader class just to spare us all a crap ton of annoyance  

would've reissued WFC Megatron with the FOC toys as the current prices are crazy .

 

Haha, 'should've' started this in the right forum!  

I frequently ask myself 'shoulda' when it comes to accessories. 'DotM Skyhammer should come with four missile launchers and a smaller gun' for instance.

 

Should've- Prime Airachnid should have been designed as a Voyager from the start. I feel like a lot of her terrible design was based around the fact that she was stuck being made as a deluxe.
Would've- The Universe Hound mold would've made a great Earth-mode Ironfist with a little remolding in the head.

 

Shoulda: too many to pick just one but let's beat the deadest of the dead......FOC Onslaught as a Voyager Hasbro you cheap-ass chimps!


Woulda: somebody gonna finally make that Cloud Rodimus outa Springa?

 

Should've: ROTF Springer in either Voyager or Leader-Class.

Would've: A few, but I'm still steamed we never got TFA Voyager Thundercracker or Ramjet. (Or Slipstream, but that probably would've required a new mold)

Shoulda:
Beast Machines Nightscream and Rattrap to deluxe, Silverbolt to Mega

I understand why they didn't, but a third to half of Animated would be nicer as bigger toys, given the "all Decepticons are big" nature of the cartoon.

Woulda:
Cybertron Hardtop/Swindle to Beachcomber
Cybertron Snarl in BW Silverbolt colors

 

Shoulda: Universe Cheetor should've came with a gun, might only gripe with it

Woulda: FOC Whirl shoulda been Rotorstorm

 

Shoulda: Animated Lugnut should have been Leader-sized.

Woulda: Prime First Edition Bulkhead woulda made a great Prime Ironhide.

 

Should've: Gen Armada Starscream to Voyager

Would've: Added more gold to YoTH to fet the full LD homage.

 

Should have- AOE Galvatron should have been a Leader
Would have- The AOE Mass Release Leader mold should have been used to make the "Silver Knight" Optimus Prime... Being the superior mold.. And Hasbro knows this!

Oh well, I'll just have to do it myself...
