Oh dang, how did I miss this?!

Really interesting story so far. Seems like they're still toys, but they act more like really robots than other toy-based comics I've seen.

 

Oh god, this is all Prowl's doing? I think I see how this is gonna go XD

 

It's nice to see that Prowl being a dick is something that spans various continuities

 

Some more good world-building, and man, I actually kind of feel bad for everyone here. Ironhide, Ratchet, and the rest of the Autobots are tired of seeing their beloved leader fall again and again, while Prowl's just trying to find a worthy leader.  

The appearance of Combiner Wars Prowl and Ironhide makes me think Combiner Wars Optimus Prime will be the one.  

As usual, great job. The anticipation for the next issue is eating away at me.  

 

Oh boy, that's fascinating so far, the fight was great, but seeing that it is a recurrent event and partially Prowl's fault makes it so much interesting.

This is the second comic in which Prowl is involved with something involving an Optimus Prime.

I’m curious to know how you got Prime to remain grey.

Also, thanks for the table of contents. Makes things easier for future rereads.

At least I’ll have something to finally wake up to on the weekends.

Thanks! I'm trying to put a little more liveliness into the characters, but I think some more toy-centric kinds of things will come into play once the Decepticons are fully introduced.

Yeah, it's something I definitely wanted to try and incorporate into this new story.

Actually, it's funny, I originally just bought Prowl and Ironhide to have those characters for the comic, but than my brother bought me Mirage and Sunstreaker for Christmas! So I have all the limbs, but neither of the torsos.

If it's the comic, I'm thinking of, that Prowl seems to base his plans more out of paranoia than anything, you'll soon find that mine has very, very different reasons.

As for Optimus, I used the Photoshop Color Replacement tool.

Alright guys, here's this weeks update, it is a little more world building and we'll have some more next week when we visit the Decepticons. But after that, we should be good to start moving the story forward.

Issue #2:








So, I don't know how obvious it is, but that clearly isn't actually a G1 Optimus Prime toy in the box, that's a picture I got off of the internet, but it does play a major role in the story. I think it might be slightly too big anyways!  

 

Prowl, it might be a good idea if you stopped looking for Optimus Prime clones. I have a feeling this won't end well if it does for you.

Also, we may be thinking of different Prowls.

And that's actually really interesting. If you ever were able to acquire one, I would recommend CW Optimus Prime. Had to get a Prime Starscream just so I could put him down. Now I have a new problem...
