Its the only way, no regrets.

Scorn is amazing, buy him first. Skrap's cool but he's small and will always be $10.

    Eagerly awaiting their partner, Bombshell

Also, a big thanks to Yaujta for his mandible fix! They are both perfectly straight with each other now! As a wonky pin on Shrapnels right mandible (if looking straight at the beetle), causing it to droop, seems to be a constant QC issue on this figure, I highly suggest his quick and easy fix!

I'm glad to see all the positive reviews for this guy. After the reveal of Bombshell on Saturday, I think I'm going to have to track this guy down, and hopefully we'll get a Kickback in the same scale at some point

Me too... I love FOC Kickback, and I can deal with him being with these Legend Class versions of Shrapnel and Bombshell, but I too would love a more G1 Kickback in this scale to complete the trio!

This guy is just plain fun.

Had to trim the hinge on one of the bug leg pivots but otherwise he's great.

Finally got him and have to say he is pretty damn cool. A great update to the old G1 version I wanted as a kid(only ever got Bombshell).

Cannot wait for Bombshell to land and the Kickback reveal at this size(they said at Botcon there will be one).

Hasbro is seriously killin it with these legends.

This may be the most faithful remake of a G1 toy that hasbro has done in recent times. It's really an incredible figure. It feels right, it looks right...its fun...

I just can't say enough good about this one.

Reflector, may be one of the best damn targetmasters ever made. That camera lens looks Freakin REAL. Gun mode is awesome, bot mode is solid..every collector here will have no problem finding a figure they love to hold the camera.

Add to that, the future realities of a "bug with a camera" on it...and you have one of the best little releases of the year.

If the death of cyberverse, has led to more development into quality with these Leg-Gens then so be it. I love cyberverse...but these are so good I will accept it, and bask in the new found qualities of this new line. I love everyone they have done so far.

    ill do my best.......

in insect mode, take the rear legs and swing them under the body. you will see a raised line of plastic on the hinge. trim this off and the legs will move farther out to the sides. before I did this the legs didn't even move much, just kinda stayed on the robot mode back but now they will move out more in insect mode and the front legs will be even with the rear legs in insect mode.

    hope this helps

    Got it! Thanks dude!

Looking at this closer now...its almost like the legs were originally intended to be individually articulated...

With mine, the bug legs were stuck in bug position really affecting his look and arm articulation. Trimmed that ridge and now they swing out of the way.

    That looks awesome!

Is it easy to take the mandibles completely off to do this? Does the paint wear off when you transform it?

I just taped off the body and used an extco to push the tape into the spaces I couldn't get it into with just my fingers. They are pinned so it's the easiest option.

Nothing touches the mandibles during transformation so no worries about paint coming off.

His purple thighs bothered me so I went ahead and did them as well to match closer to the G1 color and balance out the robot mode.

nothing really scraps on them either and they pop off easily to paint.

    Krylon premium original chrome
It's sold in some places as just "premium metallic"

Word of warning when using krylon metallics, do not clear coat them. Clear coat reacts weirdly and separates the metallic "fleck" from the base.
