Picked up 2 of these sets today thanks to a fellow board member going out of their way on a group buy ( cheers jon )

First impressions...........super impressed :)  its a lovely set of superb quality, there are no rough edges and the joints are tight all round with rivets in the correct places and plastic pegs where they should be.

Theres obviously not a lot to say as the pics speak for themselves however there is the danger that these may be passed off as the real deal to people who dont frequent the boards so spread the word they are out there, if your a headmaster fan you will seriously miss out if you dont land one of these sets, I personally couldnt afford the layout for the originals so this is a good way for me to pick these sought after figs up and have some fun.

Mind if I frontpage this? I've been meaning to do one myself but I've been too busy this week.

I've only had one problem with my set - the silver paint on the goggles of the blue/purple wolf rubs right off. I had to repaint it. The paint was also a bit sloppy here and there on various ones, but I just scraped off the extra with the tip of an xacto knife and it's all good.

Other than the minor paint issues, they look factory made (not that you can't get sloppy paint on a factory item, mind you). Clean, sharp molding all around.

    No worries mate!

No paint issues on mine. A bit of flash from the sprues here and there but that's about it!!

Wish I didn't miss out on these. I never seem to find the ebay auction up until after it already ended.

Can anyone put me in touch with the contact to purchase a set? I'd love to avoid hunting and pecking for individual heads on eBay.

I ordered a set from there and I couldn't be happier. As of now, he has 3 sets available. However, he has been restocking his supply.

I'm going to go on a limb and prove I'm ignorant...
    What are these for exactly?

(I know they're from the Japanese late G1, but that's it)

I got my set the other day from ioffer. Nice box and good quality. Have to do a comparison pic with my little Black Zarak.

Just do the iOffer thing. They come better packed than from the eBay guy, AND you can make an offer for less. He wants $105 but he'll accept $100.

They're exclusive mold heads that were sold without bodies - perfect for replacing a lost headmaster.

    Ebay:
The six exclusive headmasters (loafer, kirk, lodoni, lione, shuffler, and trizer) were single-packed headmasters only sold in Japan, and go for a crap ton on eBay, whenever they (very rarely) show up. Several hundred dollars each (I've seen anywhere in the range of $400-700 each).

The other 4 are just repros of headmasters that came with actual bodies, but some of those are also rare and/or easily broken (Black Zarak).

So this is just a super cheap way to get the rare Japanese headmasters mainly, plus some may find use of the extra headmasters (a Fort Max without Spike, for example, is a lot cheaper than one with him).

If you're just unsure what a Headmaster is in the first place, start your learning!

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, what is ioffer? Is it safe? Do I need to set up some type of account??
