I got this sucker from Amazon.com before it was taken down. it cost me $27.00 with shipping.

He is the a Traditional repaint of the voyager optimus, we have come to know and love... because this is this molds 6th release



He has an awesome faded Autobot Symbol on the side of the truck. (I guess he does not want to be a robot in disguise anymore)



Also i guess he is in the Military for the Chinese... because the Chinese characters say Shanghai General and Big General.





Robot mode is the same too with the colors being darker.



now the characters are on his back and Leg.






The faded symbol is also on his leg.



Always been a fan of the head scuplt. Also he has a more bronze colored face now.



And to finish this off "HA That takes care of soundwave!"



Overall PICK HIM UP espically if you didnt get the last ones.

 

Actually, it's the mold's sixth release.

I like him. And I'll probably buy him. The Chinese symbols are a nice touch, and I like the darker colors.

I seen him when i picked up a few others yesterday. I have him from the first movie. This one does nothing for me. And I dislike the added graphics. He is an easy pass.

 

There was also a battle damaged version in a 3 pack with Arcee and Starscream.

Ah wow, I didn't know he had the extra paint details. Nice touch actually. I'll probably pick him up now since I skipped the first movie version.

I'm on the fence about him, but the Chinese characters aren't really a selling point. Is it really that hard to have had some Cybertronian characters?

 

I never liked the look of the chest in robot mode for both the first movie and ROTF Voyager Prime.. Gimme Leader Prime anytime..

So help me, I bought this. I guess the weird faded gold Autobot logo made it worth it. That and it belonging to the "new" movie line, which has plenty of other things I'll be buying that are repaints of molds I already bought too many times in the first movie line.

But then also, I've only got the Robovision and First Strike versions already. (Normal version was rendered moot by Robovision, I don't think "battle damage" that only means smears of black paint is worth it, and the Target 2-pack with Bonecrusher one wasn't different enough to matter and I didn't need Bonecrusher again either.) So that's only three in all. Hoping this is the last use of the mold.

Seriously? The Leader is superior in so many ways. It's very very possible that you'll get this version, find that he's pretty much the same as the last five versions, and then you'll talk yourself into getting the Leader one as well, and be very happy with it, and then find that instead of spending $45 on Leader, you spend $60 on them both and are only satisfied with the Leader one.

 

I'm buying this after I get everything else on my list. He's got a very nice paintjob.

 

Nobody should pass on Leader Prime. If you have to cut out other toy purchases to make it happen, do it anyway. It's just that good.

Not slagging this Voyager mold at all. I love this guy.

But no TF fan should be without the leader.

 

i've been wanting this mold for awhile, i was going to buy the battle damaged one because it has the most details, BUT the price went up, lol and then this came out, so i just bought it at bbts, in a case of other transformers.  

but from the pictures, it appears that i will be very happy with it.

THOUGH the battle damage one still looks the best...

 

His gray areas look brown in the wrong light (for instance, the light from the windows in my apartment).

unless they can come up with a better leader prime than ROTF leader for movie 3, ROTF leader prime could be this generation's G1 prime. a must have.

 

they got three years to design it... it BETTER be better...
