I picked this guy up from BBTS and finally got around to opening it, so I figured I'd post a little review for it.

The box is pretty plane. Not much to it, just a white box with red grid and silhouette of Dai Atlas. The back of the box is the same as the front, except with a smaller picture of Dai Atlas.

Once you open the box, you find Dai Atlas and his accessories. He comes with Z-sword, gun, and 4 extra fists to hold his accessories or just pose.

Dai Atlas is a little smaller than a deluxe, but larger than most poseable PVC figures (Mega SCF's and Revoltechs) I would have compared it to Mega SCF Victory Saber but I forgot how to combine it:redface2:

I was really dissappointed by the posability of Dai Atlas's hips. His skirt allows for his legs to move forward slightly, but not enough to allow for many dynamic poses. The legs can move backwards as well but not much laterally

Also, when I tried to put a weapon in his right hand, the thumb popped out, and hasn't really held in place since. It holds his gun well, but because of the shoulder design, I couldn't pose him with his Z-sword unaided.

Overall, I like Dai Atlas, but it could have been alot better if it had greater hip posability and it could hold the Z-sword up. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 (generously) but I don't believe it's worth the sale price of $40, and definately not the retail price.

Thanks for posting the review. Although I dont collect the SCF figures, I was thinking about picking this one up. However, I think Im going to put the $40 towards a Revoltech instead. I just got Revol-Megatron last week and he was worth every penny for $27(tax included).
