Grew my beard in to play a villain in a kids movie that shot in Atlanta recently. The last two weeks before the shoot, I didn't trim it or shave my cheeks or neck. My wife said I looked really creepy, which was precisely what the director wanted.

My wife and I took a trip the weekend of my birthday and I got a really cheap deal on this lot of loose TFs at a flea market.

    Pictured (left to right):

    - Real Gear "Zoom Out"
    - Armada "Super-Con" Optimus Prime
    - BW Sky-Byte
    - Armada Scavenger
    - BW Transmetal 2 "Black" Prowl II
Was particularly happy with this fairly rare find, for a flea market anyway. I was aware of an owl-former during the BW run, but I never saw it in stores. This "black" version, as I understand it, is a redeco and less common than the original "white" version -- plus, this is the cooler-looking version too.

And below is my birthday haul: WMT exclusive "NASCAR" Bumblebee was a gift from my wife, and the other 3 were from my brother Jon3pnt0 whom I got to visit with very briefly while passing through Memphis last week. Especially grateful to him for picking up Generations Jazz and Warpath for me, after I gave up trying to find either of them in the Atlanta area.

You're very welcome. I haven't seen any more since I found those first three. I kept one, gave you one, and I'm giving the other away in my YouTube contest. Friends have told me that they are finding them more frequently and at more stores so maybe it will be easier to find them soon.

Haven't posted any hauls in a long while, but I had a couple chances to revisit the flea market I mentioned above but this time I brought stuff in hopes to sell. They weren't offering cash, unfortunately, but they gave me about $50 worth of store credit and here's what I got in return for toys I originally found so cheap I barely had $20 invested in them.

First lot, for $12 worth of store credit:

    Beast Wars Transmetal Scavenger
    TF Animated Activators Lockdown
...and a few of the transforming toddler toys for my nephew: Chopper Charlie (Helicopter), Buzzer-Bot (motorcycle), and Buzzer-Bot (wasp).

Second lot, for $40 worth of store credit:

    Pictured:
TF Animated Leader Class Optimus Prime
    Universe Silverbolt (redeco)
Baboon TF (can't find the name)
    Beast Wars Razorclaw (transforming crab!)
Beast Wars Prowl (still need BW Ironhide and Silverbolt to complete Magnaboss)
    Speed-Bot (also for the nephew)
The three minicars I haven't bothered to look up yet.
