Okay... lets see where this goes.

 

Nice looking kit. I like cars with guns. Cars with missile launchers is even better.

For a minute I got excited because I thought it was good launchers for the Universe Deluxe mold, but that's no Deluxe is it?

Prowl is one of my favorite characters, but I probably won't get it because it's Masterpiece.

 

Aren't these the guys that keep stealing shapeways designs?

 

Yup, and it looks like they're going against Dr. Wu this time...

 

can't they do anything original? @_@ I hope they don't think it is "ok" if its not shapeway designs. This is maybe why sometimes companies don't post progress updates

 

Well, if it's an original mold the made, good luck to them, but I'm not getting either their work or Dr. Wu on this. Has anone made good missiles for the Deluxe?

 

From who? Dr. Wu's missiles are not out yet. So they can't copy his molds. If they made the molds themselves, then I dont' see this as much worse than 4 Predakings, 4 Powerglides, 2 Devastators, 2 Seasprays, etc.

 

I don't think you accuse someone of stealing without proof. Be nice if they learned not to piss off their customers and started making products not copied from other molds without permission.

 

I don't think there is anyone they can copy on Shapeways, since there is no MP Prowl out yet, no one has made missiles for him!

 

I didn't know they were copycats, but they can't have copied these from anybody and I do certainly want some nice shoulder missiles for Prowl and these look great. If they make them and they come out decent I'll get them, although Dr Wu's are certainly on my radar too.

 

I like the look of these better than the "winning" Wu design.

 

yeah.. posting ideas just allows others to take it. It is safer to wait until you are ready to go with a product...but then again, all 3rd party is taking from ideas anyway..lol..

This third party stuff is getting a little crazy with that as of late.

 

Well, one company announcing they are making Prowl missiles, then another company announcing Prowl missiles. That's just competition.

I can think of several overpriced third party toys I wish had more competition. That old iGear City Commander hammer for instance!

 

The deal with Guilty is that they already have a precedent....

 

And they've been found...Guilty. 

I'm surprised though, how do they make these without actually having the MPs in hand yet? 3P is kinda getting out of hand lately, making upgrades for a product that hasn't even been released?

 

This is good, which ever company is cheaper will have my money.
