I'd be excited if it was Ironfactory making these.

I'm just not a fan of DX-9's offerings.

Definitely prefer the look of Iron Factory's stuff, but this sure is interesting. I hope this means we'll see prototypes at TFCon.

I don't currently have a legends collection but Im still interested in this as a standalone for my desk at work (barring it looks good when we see it completed).

I have a perfectly good Predaking in Feral Rex. His massive size works far better with my IF Guys than this is likely to. I also have a perfectly adequate Legends-worthy PK in Warlord. And after the let-down that was Hulkie........I don't want another so this will be watch and wait.

And would it kill them to finish the cast and give us Springer and Hot Rod first?

If they price it too high like their Devy, it's an instant pass. Starscream, on the other hand, might be interested if it looks good.

His legs look really long, can't say I care for the proportions there. Hulkie kind of sucked too, so if it is priced similarly, I will pass. The only thing that would make me reconsider would be good animal designs. Though I don't have high hopes for those either.

I wish Iron Factory would get on combiners.

Kinda iffy on this one. I have and absolutely love Hulkie, but I also have Feral Rex and I'm not a big enough Predaking fan that I feel like I have to get this one, too. I'll wait and see what the final version is like, of course, but I may just spectate this time.

Since there seems to be a nice gap between Starscream's release and Predaking I'm hoping that they find a way to spill Hot Rod into their schedule.

Hulkie didn't blow me way, so I have to agree that if the price is that high again I'll probably pass. I liked how much of the parts forming DX9 managed to design out of Hulkie. And generally I like Hulkie's combined mode; it was mostly the individual robot modes that throw me off. They don't look quite right next to the rest of the DX9 guys.

Can't decide if only being composed for five individual robots will be a benefit or hindrance for designing an integrated combined mode. Hopefully they are able to reduce the parts-forming on these guys too.
