So, I'm watching Zombie Apocalypse on The Discovery Channel. THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL!!!

I am amazed that people are actually stupid enough to believe that this could actually happen. Not only that, but there are "experts" and actual doctors who believe that this absurdity is possible.

These people are more of a threat to society that a fictional creature ever could be. These doctors need to be stripped of their licenses. This is just fucking pathetic.

I have a feeling that if Discovery Channel didn't humor them, The History Channel would have. Those jokers really love the end of the world crap.

:lol  my first thought upon reading the original post was "I'm surprised it's not on the History Channel."

Idiocracy is in full effect, folks. Stock up on Brawndo.

The thread name made me think of the one of the most overused concepts in fiction, specially video games.

Even though I love me some zombies, and will continue to enjoy quality zombie fare (god that sounds weird) like the Walking Dead, I think the whole zombie genre has jumped the shark now that we have that Twilight-like "zombies working jobs and falling in love" movie coming out. Zombies are the new vampires.

Sounds like one of their faux shows- like the Mermaids "documentary".

As much as I love zombie movies and video games, this show is pretty ridiculous.

If this is the same show that I'm thinking of,there were segments where they would have a different weapon, and then this "zombie expert" would show you exactly how to kill a zombie with each weapon. It was frickin' hilarious.

That actually looks pretty funny. It's obviously a comedy using the Twilight absurdity and zombies' popularity.

    *say something human*

    "errrrr"

    *nailed it*

The fuck? How could this definitely not happen? I mean, even if you ignore the possibility of an undiscovered disease or whatever spreading, the ideas of people freaking the fuck out & destroying society seems more than likely.

I think that one was on the History Channel and the zombie expert was Max Brooks (author of World War Z and the Zombie Survival Guide).

I think it looks hilarious as well. I think they're going for some kind of parody of Twilight in a way. The actors that are in it can be really good too. I don't think I'll see it in theaters unless my mom wants to, but I will definitely check it out on DVD.
