This guy was done as a quick paint test for a few upcoming TF's that I am doing. I wanted him to look all crusty and barnacle covered, like he had been in the ocean a long time. These little Zoids Blox figures are awesome. Very posable and interchangable. They also come with an entire sprue of ball joints, which you only use a small portion of on the figure. Very good resource for bashers!

Thanks man! (working on your guys right now oddly enough!) I wanted to see how the "barnacle" effect worked, and will be using it along with some more drastic marine weathering. I am aiming for the feel of Davy Jones' ship and crew from POTC.

Nice! Let me guess; you're working on either the Seacons, or Submarauder/Octopunch.

Very nice, and your avatar is a little creepy. Is there a special technique to achieve the crustiness or is it a trade secret?

At this scale, I used some sand mixed with epoxy glue and tapped it on the areas I wanted. Thanks folks!
