I am still waiting on mine from ShowZ, no updates since 3/10 with the Airlines start shipping, crossing my fingers.

Was there some kind of accident on the boat?
Is there another reputable retailer besides ShowZ that sells this set for the same total price or lower?

@ChromeMagnus ShowZ didn't really go into specifics, but assumed the shipping container was left in water for a couple of days.

So anyone placing an order for a set as of right now and going forward should be ok?

I think it’s still the best deal for me, if 2 different shipments of this thing got soaked, it would be strange as hell and probably the end of people buying big items from ShowZ. It was probably a freak incident, but I still don’t really understand how anything can be underwater at any point?!

Hi, for anyone who got a metallic Kronos yesterday, I'd greatly appreciate if you take some pictures and just general give me a scouting report if there are problems with anything (paint chips/tight-immovable joints/breaks/missing parts etc. Also, is it proper lemon yellow or is it gold like the metallic Zeta Swindle was?

I just want to make sure if I place an order with ShowZ now or going forward, my set won't arrive with the box soaked and ruined.

Just to be clear, ShowZ is my main go to, and I don't fault them personally for this at all nor would I use it as a sign of what to expect ordering from them going forward. I've had nothing but great experiences and service from them when it's needed and I am a regular customer. However, the reply I got today was 'We have asked the shipping company to contact the post office. It's a problem with their warehouse.' Ehhhh.... To me sure looks like thing went swimming like others are saying haha.... They are going to slightly compensate me for the box being water logged and trashable, and assured me if something did happen to one of the figures reach out like always and they will help with the replacement parts.

Like OP, my figures and parts appear to be OK - the foam layers really must be the lifesaver (no sinking water pun intended). My instruction booklet was slightly wet, because there is a hole in the plastic, but my cards were OK. My bigger concern was what if water got in there I don't know about/won't notice for a while because it's metal etc. - but I'm going to give them the benefit that if that happened and damage occurs I can follow up on my previous email to them and they would take care of it.

Nearly two weeks without shipping update after landing in New York, I got a notice that it has arrived in Florida which means not long now as post service has been on the ball lately. Not looking forward to my soggy mess of cardboard though.

Just arrived and all dry. Now to take the time to inspect each and combine.

Might be wiser if I were to move the Aerialbots to the bottom shelf.

Honestly, I really need to get some BILLY bookcases, these cases just ain't cutting it anymore.

(While I'm at it I should probably invest in something other than a cell phone to take photos of my collectibles.)

Did you paint his eyes? That looks great. Do they pop out in some easy to paint way or do you just have to carefully work around the face?

Yay, he has arrived! And his box is dry! Sorry others weren't so lucky.

The quality is almost perfect, but unfortunately I'm missing one of the litttle folding tips on Fireflight. I'll see if ShowZ can help me get it sorted.

-edit- why are the antenna spring-loaded on the Superion toon head?

That is a superbly done chest piece. A shame it isn't white like the rest of the figure, but at least the sculpt is done precisely as Zeta's piece. Maybe a good white paint scheme would do wonders.

@collectorcrafts any chance you'll do a chest piece with the silver parts being more white to match the whiter v1 torso color?
