The only issue I recall is some of the initial runs arrived with missing thumbs. Mine didn’t, but I know many did (my Fly Fire, however, did arrive with a thumb missing). Maybe some paint app issues, but again, nothing that I encountered.

 

For me, all the Zeta limbs bottom kibble in jet mode look good/acceptable actually, and so does MP / MT Starscream.

For me, the Concorde holds a special place, and so does Silverbolt in general.
That is why i want Zeta to just freely show what is down there, lol. I wont be looking at the jet from the bottom, but i will look at it straight, and sometimes angled upward to my advantage of course.

 

Not really. It's quite fitting and I'm sure most ppl can tell the difference between a 5 piece, 20" combiner and a much smaller Skyfire.

Yeah Sunsurge hasn't aged well. The duck feet and skinny legs immediately jump out.

 

I kinda like it, though. Sorta reminds me of the G1 toy.

The front landing gear is annoying to deal with, and the way it is designed means if you go to or from jet mode you have to deal with it.

 

I had very little issue with Air Strikes nose gear. granted its not the best design, but its not horrible.

 

I know it's an arbitrary line but useless partsforming torso is a bit much for me. I hope they can give the torso piece any semblance of an alternate function and I'll totally buy in. Having said that I still love Kronos. I don't even know why the torso thing bothers me since my TFC Uranos has never been transformed out of the combined mode and I know Kronos will similarly be purely a display piece.

 

Maybe, but now is even much more welcome!!! I got a few things in my bin which i need a flash sale BAAAADLY, so badly, i am double guessing myself if i can wait or not for some of them and just pay the extra...

 

Useless is a matter of perspective. Doesn't look useless in combined mode.

 

I transformed my AirRaid into "Leg mode" today and I am curious if anyone has a clue on how the foot would attach to this guy? Seems like a lot of empty space down there with no real obvious pegs.. or is my copy missing something?

 

Is there a peg hole between the legs?

Yeah, I finally found a shot of Superion's leg with the foot and yeah, there is a part of the foot that seems to slot over the 2 grey tabs on the from to AirRaid. Not sure how the back fits, but I'm hoping it doesn't rely too much on the peg holes in the bottom of AirRaids feet, as they tend to pull out pretty easy. Maybe it will latch onto the back as well as the front? For some reason I just wondered if they were like Brawl and Swindle, but apparently they are keeping the leg to foot connection unique.

 

Poor old fellow, he was good in his day...

So I guess the next 3P Superion will be named Zeus.

Unless Kronos eats him.
