I still think you should. I didn't have that experience, but ymmv of course.
So, he's combined and, as you'd expect, looks incredible. It's a really nice-looking set which scales perfectly with Toyworld's combiner. And the glue I'm using seems to be holding the breaks pretty well. That said, I had a number of other smaller pieces come flying off as well like Onslaught's rearview mirror.
While I'm not quite as concerned as I was about its stability when I started, I really couldn't tell somebody who plans to transform these guys that it's a good idea to sink money into it. If you're the type to buy a combiner and then leave it in one mode, then it's probably a go. Just be aware that he doesn't come ready to be snapped together like Constructor and the guides for this guy are pretty terrible.
I think I watched Benscollectables and a few other channels as back up in case a specific part of the transformation was giving me problems, but I don't recall these figures being too hard to transform. Bad luck for our bud Christiano but I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a similarly scaled Bruticus to Constructor and other gestalts of that size. Crazy bad he had a bad experience with Constructor too, as that is still my favorite combined mode gestalt. The proportions are just so good to me.
I just watched TM reviews assembly of the clear Superitron and it seems like there's a lot of luck of the draw with weird QC issues and missing/wrong pieces with the Zeta formers but still seems like as long as you can get it together it looks great on a shelf.
I didn't have a ton of issues specifically with the transformation as much as I had issues with tiny little misalignments causing pieces to snap off with how much the clearances overlap with a lot of these steps. But I should've also just gone straight to combined mode and skipped vehicle mode too. That would've saved me a headache.
I had a zeta Armaggedon and the knees of swindle popped off all the time. A guy on here made knee piece to help lock swindle in place. User shadow of silver makes a zeta upgrade destroyer force kit. 45$ was what I paid 2 years ago I think. He will sell pieces alacarte I think... he told me back then just for the knee part, it would be 4-5$

Since then I swapped all the zeta limbs out, had the torso painted custom and replaced with unique toys limbs with Ramsesidens kit.
I am assembling Bruticus for the first time.
Can anyone tell me what these are for and how to use them?
The black things are rubber adhesive bits that you apply to Bruticus's feet (there are designated places that correspond in size for them) so that he's more stable. I don't know/remember what the second thing is. I'm not sure it came with my copy. They kinda look like headlights.
Just gonna drop this here for you all to take in.
Somebody really likes Menasor!
I sure do!!
It's amazing how Unicron manages to make everything look small.
I'd like to pick one of these up and hoping they reissue it again but if they do I'm sure it will be a little bit. When was the last release, late last year then they geared up and just released Superitron plus their seekers are coming. As long as I can get one under $400 like this last release I can wait.
Aside from that I started paying a little more attention and it seems the Zeta combiners have random QC issues along the lines of constructor (maybe not to the extent) and I'm guessing Zeta stuck with the same build of materials as they did when they were part of Toyworld. Hearing problems with screws and posts breaking is exactly the same as constructor. A simple change in the type of screw used through the main assembly of these would result in the whole thing staying together properly.
I have one of the latest Superitrons on the way and I hope I get one without issues. I love working on and customizing things to do with my bots but it does get tiring having to go straight to work out of the box fixing QC issues that never should have left the factory.
Awww, poor lil XTB Menasor! Looks like he's going to wet his pants!
I asked ShowZ if they planned on getting more Zeta Armageddons soon simply because I noticed TF Source has an open preorder with a July release and they said Zeta is making changes to it for the next batch so they will post new product in the near future. I'm glad I wasn't able to find one now and am interested in whatever these changes are.
Would love to see zeta repaint the bruticon set as battle gaia
Any idea when tfsource will be getring their order in for zeta toys bruticon.metallic?
I got me a preordwr in there for zeta bruticon.now
Any guess what changes zeta may make to bruticon for the next prerelease
Personally im hoping for battle hai or ruination
Thanks to this thread I am holding back for the next release that should be coming out next month with some fixes.
Got mine on preorder through tfsource.
Any flaws and defects i should be aware of video reviews wise
