That's funny, because I was too lazy to do the spikes and screw covers. I'll definitely do the screw covers eventually, but think I might skip the spikes because they look like they could fall off pretty easily and maybe even break.

 

They stay on pretty good. The bigger concern with them is stabbing yourself during transformation. First transformer to draw blood.

one thing i didn't mention when i posted my pictures although i love this figure i really don't like the ratchets in the bicep swivel the spaces are too far apart . i'm tempted to remove them

A Galvabong?

 

Transformed this guy back to bot mode and was once again amazed by the marvelous engineering. It is super impressive that they made him without shellforming. The transformation is insane: just unwrapping this, folding up that, curl his legs up in just the right order...then there's the part where you've got to split the torso in half and it feels like you're going to break him (Now that I've done it once it's much easier to split, thankfully). But yeah, excellent figure.

I'm still blown away by the lack of kibble he has, you can get lots of great poses and such out of him. The somewhat lacking planet mode, wings and size really can't take away from how excellent he looks overall. If I didn't already have my Unicron I'd definitely grab this beast.

His headsculpt too, just... absolute perfection.



He also scales really well with Primus.

lol well I couldn't get Galvatron to lay on Uni's chest to recreate the scene where he shoots him in the face... which also sounds suggestive, but, eh.
