Take out some screws and flip the piece over.

I don't even bother with two of them. It's not worth the effort or stress it'll put on pieces and just isn't necessary for the alt mode.

Yeah, the arms go 360, the head swivel is maybe 1 degree in each direction and they can kick like the rockettes, but maybe like 30 degrees back. No knee, elbow, wrist, ankle, etc. They're just little pvc figures. I think these are either very old impossible toys or someone KO'ed 'em.

Still waiting patiently for mine to arrive. Hopefully in the next week or two. Mine shipped out on the 29th. On the bright side, I just got Earthrise Scorponok to hold me over.

 

Yeah they suck.
What finally worked for me was just working one side at a time by pulling the leg back while pushing the nearest chest surface area away to get the opposing forces happening as close to the tab as possible. Once one side pops off, you can just slide the other tab out sideways.

 

I ordered Scorponok over the weekend from BBTS and I'm still waiting for a shipping notice.

 

Still haven't received mine. It left NJ on the 20th then disappeared. Estimated delivery date changed from the 22nd to unknown  

 

Ugh, that sucks. I was lucky and was able to physically grab one from a local specialty toy shop because they just got their shipment in on Monday.

 

I ordered that last Monday and got my ship notice mid day the next day... wierd.

 

I just want to say a big thank you for this post. It should help people out immensely. I almost broke the c-clip on one of the larger spikes because I didn’t initially realize four had thicker bases from the other and didn’t go on the shoulders. I was half contemplating shaving it down, thinking it was a mold issue before looking closely.
Some of my last posts have also been snarky so I wanted to give back and recognize an awesome posting.
