So the 30 days thing seems to be true for most of y'all. Mine shipped from ShowZ on 7/3 so hoping it arrives on 8/3!

I can't believe I actually own a screen accurate transforming Unicron toy.

Interestingly, its head is pretty much the exact same size as the Armada version.

This guy is pretty nice. What's the consensus on the best/most helpful video for transformation?

I got mine over a month ago, so was reliant on some of the chinese reviews - i dont understand chinese language - along with a lot of experimentation.

Unfortunately, whilst a lot of reviews go from planet to robot, this is by far the easier route - i seem to remember peaughs being good for this.

As for robot to planet, i really would watch a couple as i never saw a definitive video (hopefully emgo will put one up soon), though as i say i got mine very early so havent watched them all.
A you tube video from 'transforms into a guitar' includes the same method i had been using (following experimentation, though i never did study the instructions) for moving the legs into position without straining/flexing the kneecap pieces, and i think this was the only video i saw which used this method (sliding lower leg down with ab sections still together, then once kneecap pieces clear, opening the ab section pieces before folding leg in).

I asked EmGo on twitter if they were planning to get their own Studio Cell, but they never replied. So it's anyone's guess as to rather or not he's getting this guy. I honestly don't see why he wouldn't though.

Is there any way to get rid of that collar piece? I’m assuming it’s pinned...

Definitely pinned, on a very bendy plastic hinge that is sketchy at best to stress out. But I've never taken a pin out on any of my toys, fwiw.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeah... I am not touching that issue at all then. It's not that bad in pictures, so I'm assuming it's even better in hand

While smallish in size, this guy is definitely the movie star in my collection. Glad I preordered day 1, and I feel sorry now for those still waiting or are still not sure about buying bc this guy is fun as hell to play (eat) with. He has a great deal of charm and showmanship. Kinda like vintage 1986 Tom Cruise.

But let me piss off half the people here.

This is no Hasbro's Unicron. Having seen that sucker up close, now that is a centerpiece and soul eater. Haslab's definitely not the pretty moviestar, but he makes up for sheer size and overwhelming presence. Kinda like vintage 1986 voice actor Orson Welles.

I can see why we forum piss over which one is better, bc it's fun... but like a bunch of you, I feel both figures are radically different at their core(star), and both companies approached the character with a different mindset.

And in the end, both make great dinner guests at my house.

FYI hawaiian bbq and spam musubi are on the menu tonight. I guess when Haslab's Unicron comes to visit, we may splurge and eat the small world of Lithone.

Pretty sure the collar is super easy to remove. See peaugh's video below starting at 28 minutes in to see just how simple it is to remove.

My last update was on the 15th when it supposedly left the PB shipping facility in LA but otherwise it just says USPS is still awaiting item so I'm not sure where the hell it is at the moment.

Whenever it does make it into the post office's hands then it's got to make the long ass cross-country journey to the east coast. I'll be genuinely surprised if I see it before Aug. 1. I was in the June 17 group so it's definitely gonna take more than 30 days :(

I suppose I shouldn't bitch too much, I got the PO in when it was still $250 and chose the slow boat to keep it like that but.. yeah.. the wait's turning out to be a real killer on this one.

You're fine. Wait until after your 30 day mark to start some concern. My order showed no updates until it arrived at my local post office. Then was delivered today.

Try https://pitneybowes.shipment.co/track, see if that shows more info than USPS.

EDIT: Mine shows estimated delivery for Monday.

What do you mean? That's a good thing. It's in the US as of today and it should make it to you soon.
