Quick update for those in a similar spot as I...
After contacting ShowZ late last week (after NO movement in Monroe, NJ for WELL over a week), magically, Unicron began another slow journey. It has now updated he is at my reginal headquarters, and HOPEFULLY, I'll see him in the next day or two. Having paid the extra $50+ for expedited shipping, this was indeed a harder pill to swallow, especially seeing so many other already posing theirs... but in the end, I will simply be happy to have him home, safe & sound.

Same here, sometimes they are just the cheapest option for Canadians, especially with what shipping costs are right now.

 

Super jealous. I missed out on the $250 pre-order for this guy and now I'm really kicking myself. Oh well, I'll console myself with Mors, whenever he comes out.

 

I've done quite a few orders and preorders this year and their points system is alright too. And with the conversion rate and shipping as you mentioned, they are definitely a better option

 

We're only half way through this year... don't give 2020 any ideas  

 

Does anyone have a guess at the 2nd run price? I have a preorder at ShowZ but I don't want to break the bank. $250 would be a reasonable price.

 

He is pretty awesome. I'd still recommend him if you feel he's worth the money as i haven't found anything to complain about yet. Haven't transformed him yet tho either. He poses really well and fairly easily in that, other than the joints being tight, the range is all there, and he's damn stable too.
Can't wait for Mors either.  

 

He said it’s likely about $30-50 less than $400 in the ShowZ thread so I wouldn’t expect $250

My express took 5 days longer to ship (fly), and has been in grapevine for 7 days so far, 3 hours from my house... Now slow boat people who shipped 5 days before me are seeing it in LA. Starting to think express shipping wasnt worth it, but at least it was free with points.

 

Actually, in hand, i always thought they were one of his best features, and really add a lot to the presence and accuracy of the robot mode, particularly when looked at from different angles. I suppose they could be a bit thinner but then they would become fragile.
