Any time, man.
Contacted ShowZ today. My Unicron has had no shipping updates in 2 weeks...Hopefully it is in the US at least.
When did yours ship?
On USPS when I search the tracking number it just says:
On it's way to USPS.
6/29 - picked up by shipping partner, USPS, Awaiting Item INGLEWOOD, CA 90034
Nothing else since.
Free 'Slow Boat' shipping?
Mine is with yours then on the slow boat. Mine shipped the same day as yours from Showz. Probably looking at another 2 or 3 weeks before USPS receives it.
Oh man, I just watched that BSF review, that is funny as hell seeing him spin around the mangled panel explosion of a planet mode that looks like it fell down the stairs. Is there anyone else that was unable to transform it? Looks like he just didn’t wanna spend the time.
Unable too? no, but a few reviewers have said it was difficult / couldnt do it on camera. (fingers on plastic for sure)
That's totally normal for the free slow boat shipping. That's not just a cute name, your package is really shipping by sea. The tracking number is for USPS, and it won't update until it gets through US customs after the boat arrives. I had to guess which port in China it'd depart from and which port in the US it'd land at, but the estimates I got are three to four weeks from the time the boat leaves China until it arrives in the US, and you can't even assume the boat left the day you got your tracking number. That seems corroborated by others who've used ShowZ's slow shipping for other orders. Realistically you shouldn't expect ANY updates on that tracking number until late July or early August.
Well that's my state so they can just drop it off here!
This is what I get.
I'm in a similar boat, except mine went from Greenwood, IN, to Denver, CO (where I live) back to Greenwood, IN. Soooo....I have concerns.
Ugh. That happened to me last week. The package did end up coming back and was delivered but what a waste of time.
Hang in there. Hope it arrives sooner than later.
why hello there, good looking. definitely the largest transformable figure i’ve gotten, including combiners i’ve owned. i know he was going to be big, but to have it in hand is a different thing. i can’t even imagine how big haslab’s offering is going to feel, but i have a feeling some people are not prepared for how big these guys are in real life...
It worked, bro! Thanks again. On another note, the level of engineering it took to design a transformation from this to such a kibble free and accurate robot mode is still blowing me away. FT's Road King got a lot of Figure of the Year nods last year for its engineering. Wonder if this figure will do the same for 2020. Cheers!
I'm in for the pre-order at ShowZ. I just hope it's not too expensive as I don't want to spend that much where it's at currently.
how are you all swapping out the shoulder panels? i’m looking at the pin but it doesn’t seem that it opens up on both ends, the bottom side of the pin doesn’t poke through, so it seems i need a way to force the pins upwards.
considering they provided alternate parts, i wish they added an easier way of swapping them much like the forearm parts. kind of dumb imo
Yeah idk why they made them swap out on pins. based on videos looks like you pretty much just get something thin and strong, and just push them out.
yea i skimmed through quite a bit of videos but probably skimmed through the part where they swapped it lol. ill go back and look for it, thanks!
i think the blue shoulder bits, even if it’s not toon accurate, will look better since the top and sides of the shoulders have a blue border and i feel the blue front pieces will transition better, not to mention some color separation from the all-orange arm. we’ll see, it’s all dependent on whether i can manage to pop the pins off lol
Received mine today
Some people wouldn't be prepared, sure, but those of us with an MP Omega Supreme are prepared!
Not if BSF has anything to do with it! :-D
It doesn't open at both ends, you need to open up the closed end and push from that side. I used a very fine screwdriver. It wasn't too hard to push. When you've pushed it far enough you need needlenose pliers to pull it out. I found repinning the joint harder!
