Even not backlit, they do look really impressive in hand. Painted plastic wouldn't do it justice compared to how it looks.

I have been following this thread for quite some time now and made the preorder on show z store. Now, I have received the pay balance message, which is exciting.

But I wanted to ask before, as I can't remember if this was discussed previously here, if there is a list or any known issues on quality, tolerances or similar on general on the figure. The figure is impressive, but it is an important amount of money and wanted to make sure what should be expected when opening the box.

It appears from boomerdaves comments some of the side knee pieces are assembled wrong. Just discovered mine are too.

So the these tabs need to be in the up position? Mine has yet to arrive and it could be weeks. Want to know what to look for.

 

This is what happened to me.i contacted toydojo who said they are going to contact zeta for a replacement.

 

I’m really hoping this isn’t a huge across the board issue. I’ll be getting mine in two weeks or so and now I’m a bit worried.

 

After such a TF drought I am jealous that people are getting their Unicrons tomorrow from TFS-E. I've been a huge fan of the character ever since the Marvel comic made him central to numerous plots and I've longed for an accurate version for years. I was gonna order from TFS-E when I saw they had it for £250, but I'd already ordered from my regular seller so I felt a bit disloyal. Then the delays kicked in and the prices shot up, so now I'm getting it later and for more than I could have if I'd paid up front. A bit annoying, but that's life I guess. I shall watch this thread enviously tomorrow...

 

A lot more people wouldn't be able to transform him to planet mode properly if it were on everyone's copies... the pictures we've seen so far indicate that's not the case. But yeah, hopefully it's a fluke and not a common issue. I don't want there to be any problems with this guy, haha.

 

I think deep down I'm slightly hoping one day there's a widespread QC issue like this, but its weirdly so prevalent it leads to a massive part swapping arrangement on here.

 

But... but why? Those parts are already the right colour in both modes, haha.
