The design, yeah. Changing scale is just as easy as copy & paste. It's the hardware that would take attention. All the pins, screws, etc. You can't just change the scale of those all willy nilly. It's better to match them up with currently available solutions.

Why am I wanting to back HasLabs and pre-order this?????

 

I'll never understand why stores feel the need to put up preorders for things that we know almost nothing about. Who would preorder at this stage?

 

Why the hell would they be coy about the size? That's possibly the biggest make or break it for this figure.

 

By putting it up for pre-order, they can find out. It might be a good indicator to determine brand strength. It costs Zeta zero dollars to ask a retailer to put something up for pre-order. The buzz helps the e-tailer and Zeta. How many FansToys devotees will pre-order whatever as long as the barest of character details are released?

 

Because your life will not be complete without both. Aren't you the one that owned at least two of the Omega's?

No size and no price so makes zero sense to me, even if your trying to market the figure through the stores. At least HasLab's has both and its up for pre-order at TFS too.

 

You're not alone. I keep seeing teases of an upscaled KO of Armada Unicron, with a few tweaks, a solid build, and an affordable price tag I'd be completely fine with that. I'm not here to bash the Haslab, I'm sure it'll be fine as will the Zeta. I'm convinced now that no Unicron is worth six bills to me.

I have a few combiners approaching the 2 foot mark and while I like them they are unwieldy as Hell. At the end of the day I just want a big ass Unicron that can stand there and look imposing in bot mode. I don't really care if it's the most accurate, or the "best" one, official, 3P, KO. Only that its sturdy affordable and does what I need it to do.
