Lol ... Nolan was washed after Momento
This is reflective of my my opinion as of now, and I suppose both are very much known quantities at this point.
Well I paid my pre-order from Show Z ahead of time. So psyched for this guy.
he’s currently $350 USD at showz, does anyone remember what his lowest price was during the preorder?
I was pretty sure I got in at the cheapest amount. I paid 240 US.
My seller told me the head will be releasing first
holy crap, that’s a big markup. guess i’ll wait it out and see if the price goes back down, thanks!
Unlikely unfortunately. That PO was most likely a mistake or just a reward for dedicated customers, because most places won't have it below $300. $350 is most likely the final price now that we know there's a separate box.
For such a cocky company, they sure are scared to have the full figure in one box....
Multiple people had it sub 275 until the pandemic shipping issues started. The suggested retail was 200$, so 240 is pretty on par, 300/350 is more to do with shipping costs and increased stock in warehouses due to slowing down of shipping. I wouldnt be surprised if this goes back down to 250-275 by end of the year assuming its still in stock and shipping is back to normal. Neither one of which i am willing to bet on, as i locked in my 240 price months ago as well.
Preordered this big guy last week!
Really, 4th party isn’t a thing. 1st party is the actual parent company, 2nd party is the customer, 3rd party is a provider not controlled by either 1st or 2nd party (official or unofficial). So “4th party” is really just 3rd party, but they call them 4th party because they are blatant knock offs and they don’t want to sully the grey area “Legitimacy” of groups like Fanstoys, mmc, Maketoys, etc.
That's just so they don't list them as Knock Offs and be blocked on some search engines. There is no 4th party.
Not if you get wasted at the third party and your friends have to carry you home.
I take it 3rd party is original designs of IP and 4th is either KOs or KOs of 3rd parties and also addons for 3rd parties.
Depends on who you ask. Technically a 4th party would be a company that makes parts/accessories/resources for a third party company, but this fandom has, for some ridiculous reason, decided that 4th party means KO. Again, technically, a KO is just another unlicensed third party.
We all understand that 4th party is KO, so 4th party continues to exist in our hearts even if not as a correctly attributed term
3rd Party is Licensed or Unlicensed Products, be it full figures or add-ons/upgrade kits.
KOs are KOs.
That, and for some reason, people are ok with buying "4th party" but poo-poo buying a KO. It's mental gymnastics for fanboys.
"4th party" is just KOs. Doesn't matter if it's a KO of Hasbro or 3rd party toys. Addon kits for official or 3p are also 3p. Official product can be 3p as well, for instance, the ThreeA Bumblebee movie figures are all third party, since Hasbro doesn't have control of the company. What we commonly call third party is technically "unlicensed third party product". Similar to off-brand video game controllers in the 90's.
Not everyone understands. It's often asked by people. It's fine in the forums, but it's confusing to rational, sane people outside of the fandom. Tell a family member you just preordered a 4th Party Shockwave and they'll look at you like you are speaking gibberish.
No, that would still be a 3rd party. It would be a 3rd party to the primary manufacturer/consumer.
For fucks sake. 4th party=KO because STORES named it that. We simply go with it. No one cares what term it uses as long as the product exists.
Separate names with a comma.
