ShowZ's shipping to the US is free, so it's massively cheaper to go with him than a US store like TCP, especially if you were lucky enough to get a pre-order in back when it was in the $250 range.

does anyone know of any sites that are just listing the head? or was that just misinformation from people who were guessing about the bots release.

You can transform him with his head attached.

 

TFS-Express initially listed the head separately, whilst showz made a point of saying the head was included. TFS-Express got a heap of hate for that, and now only had one listing that includes the head.

 

Yeah, when the price was announced, it was $300. Then we saw the lower price at ShowZ but I think that price was based on the price 01 studio gave for the body without the head and wings. I'm guessing that they didn't understand when they listed the lower price that the head kit would be an additional cost. Those of us who got our pre-orders in before they found out are benefiting from ShowZ's generous preorder policy of honoring the price at the time of preorder.

But all of that is speculation. Could just as easily be that they got the price information wrong for another reason. Or maybe they just wanted to give an incentive to order early. Who knows.

Lol, I still can't believe that some actually believe he doesn't come with a head let alone with one intact.

 

The manufacturer/distributor have Cell as a two set figure. The main body and the accessory kit (Head/Wings/etc). This was done in order to use a loop-hole, in case an bigger entity tries to stop this product in getting to market.

First off, I love the pics, and the ribbon on the Sharkticon is hilarious!

Second, wow....he's shorter than I figured, but then again I forgot that Omega Supreme isn't 18 inches, so that's why Unicron seems smaller to me.

I still can't believe how lucky we are to get a Unicron this perfect. It's like a dream come true.

I'm very happy that both options are available, so that everyone can pick the Unicron they want (funds allowing, of course).

Do you mean the cone coming out of one of the planet mode pics? It represents the light broadcast from Unicron's mouth in the movie. It is also used as a stand in planet mode, so it supposedly comes with 2 of them.
