Why waist money remaking a mold that was pointless even when it was released. This works with nothing....

Have the Toyworld version, an even though this looks prettier in the (honestly, useless) metallic colours, I agree with @Windsweeper II: they should've oversized it. Not much, just a few centimeters (like five).

As a Marvel fan, this mould is in so many ways my perfect Fortress Maximus, but it's just a bit too short to work with CHUG based Headmasters (I use Fansproject, but even the Titan headmasters are a bit too short -- not to mention TW's own headmasters). Plus, making it a bit bigger could give them the possibility to have a Cerebros and Spike, instead of just one.

(And then OS the IF Scorponok.)

Mh. They still have to milk the seeker/conehead mold. I guess it's still a possibility.

it's the first time when I say it: it would be cool if they oversize it for my MT Pandinus...

It works with legends for the Marvel version of the character. In the comic, he was big but not citybot big. Depending on price, I may pick this up to go with my legends collection. I'll probably have to repaint him a bit, though.

I'd definitely be down for a same sized Scorponok.

i doubt they even did that. they most likely just acquired the mild and decided why not.

also, metallics dont look that hot on bots. this is definitely the case here.

So this is about MP10's height?

In the Marvel comics, I thought Fort Max was about the height of PM Optimus Prime, maybe a little taller. So being around MP10 height would work for me.
But... I'm not that keen on Headmasters. ;)

Only good use I found for this mold and already mentioned is for Legends but using Grand Maximus instead. He seemed to scale really well with them since he was about that size in the cartoon.

Otherwise, saw this earlier this week and was a bit surprised Zeta would waste time, money, and production slot for it. I didn't think it sold that well when it was released and could find them last year with no issue and for about equal or less when they originally came out with shipping.

Yes, ZETA retained ownership of many of the molds of the items they had worked on when they left TW.

Isn't this just an attempt to get some cash without investing in design? I can imagine other companies thinking of reissuing older molds in order to make some money during the current crisis.
Anyway, it doesn't seem to be a popular mold but it's a very good one. Maybe the size is one of the main problems of it's lack of appeal.

I'd really love it if they'd release it in Brave Maximus colors. It's by far my favorite color scheme for the mold.

Hopefully the plastic quality feels better on this version. Have the original, they should have upscaled it tbh.
