Sure, fair shout, fandom size is an issue (though I suspect Hasbro has a clearer idea of market size than we do).

I also reckon the cackhanded way Hasbro went about the crowdfunding (time in year, proximity to MP44, etc) is a factor.

And I also think Zeta is a factor. I think probably they did reducer backer count. Just read the Zeta Unicron board and the Zeta FB post and you may get the same vibe.

 

I believe that was because they didn't pay said designer.

 

They took the designs they were not yet paid for and later sued for additional designs and won. I don't see how that is trolling.

 

And there are people who believe the Earth is flat because people on the internet said so. It’s best to ignore the delusional ramblings of idiots.

Good, I'm glad. I was close to being able to make a pledge but not quite there. Now I have more time to hustle up some cash... and beg my wife for forgiveness, LOL

 

Honestly that Haslab extension helps me out a ton. I have a ton of traveling during the next two months (art convention season), so my funds are tied up and dependent on sales lol

Still really looking forward for more Zeta news though!

I think they want to hit 10K. I think they were always going to make 10K but now they think they can hit it.

Literally moving goal posts to benefit themselves instead of just waiting to reach a goal or letting it fail.

I suspect they were caught off-guard by the relatively lackluster response. They expected it to sell itself. Maybe now they'll actually market it.

The funny thing is, once it hits its target, people will crawl out of the woodwork to back it.

I wonder if Zeta Toys has the patience to wait another month.
