why would they wait a solid year for it to release? to catch more flak from hasbro? wouldn't it be smarter to releases it before release but after the campaign has passed? not like anyone that paid for unicron can switch now.

 

You've said it yourself, which one would you buy between those two?.
Ever since the beginning their statement was that their design was already finished just when the official one was announced. That was their mistake. They should've waited until the campaign ended to fully reveal It.

 

I bought the Haslab one and plan to buy this one as well, so not really the best to ask which to choose. I like both. Nothing you've said brings up why they would wait far longer than needed and get more flak.

 

We may never know.

Feeling good about this thing getting released. It should, it kicks the shit out of Haslab's. Even this guy gets it.

 

IDK how to feel about the Takara senior designer who made Haslab unicron out of love being used to stroke zeta's ego. (at least whats left of it)

 

Hay man, this ain't charity, it's a competitive business. It's not like they're not charging $600 for it.

 

I mean sure, but its the same thing as having someone's image like Kevin Feige photoshopped to be next to joker from DC. It just ends up looking like someone is trying way too hard to make their favorite seem validated. Not to mention your response ignored everything but the “made from love” part....something can still be made from love and be sold. And there’s nothing competitive about using a Takara designer in the image to strike zetas ego.

 

yeah i dont get that either. it is not like haslab will try a second run at the crowd funded unicron. the market has spoken everyone who wanted the bot bought him and the rest went to vendors.

so anything else that drops unicron related shouldnt even bother them. they got their 2 or 3 million in profit or whatever.

 

I'm still hoping for a unicron head that turns into the toon accurate bot. I can do without the planet..



Should be cheaper overall and less shelf space.
