She still looks unproportional. Big hands, small head, huge ass pylons, ugly wheels that don’t fold away, still missing the back of the car, etc.
Even tho her alt mode looks incomplete I think the robot mode totally makes up for it,and her paintjob looks sweet with that metallic finish.I just wish they would hurry up and release her.Does anyone know if she will come with a base or stand.I have seen pics and in a few she is like in a mid-air pose.I really think she should.
0/10 would not date? C'mon. She's not that bad and marks a good midpoint between Alcee with her amazing drumsticks-for-legs and Crips-hand Rogue.
They painted everything else but still decided not to paint the eyes and left her with the dead eye look. Even the early promo pics had them painted a baby blue. Not a huge thing but still a bummer.
I'll buy one to mess around since I don't want my FT-Rouge to be filled with paint chipping. This costs half of FT-Rouge in my country so I wouldn't mid if this has minor paint chipping
Even if it is a polished turd to some doesn't mean everybody feels the same way.For me Arc is just about perfect except for the back half in alt mode.Also from other peoples perceptions talking about FansToys Rouge I have seen dozens of complaints about her from her chest gappage or limp shoulder pads and lots of other stuff.So don't judge one figure unfairly if you biasly overlook things from one like FT Rouge.In my opinion neither one is perfect but I am honest that they both have their own strengths and weaknesses.
I have FT Rouge and got this on pre-order just because it's Arcee, but I am a little disappointed that Zeta didn't address the missing back half of the alt mode. I don't care if it's a shell and forms a shield or weapons storage of some kind, it's just lazy. While Zeta Arc isn't great, neither is FT Rouge. A bit frustrating seeing these 3p companies miss the mark so many times, whether it is over engineering, horrible QC issues, or just bad design decisions.
Honestly I don't think it's possible to create an MP Arcee that is all things to all people. She was designed as an animated character first and a real world toy a distant second, and had she come out in G1, we all know she would've borne little resemblance to her screen counterpart. It's frankly sorcery that FT's Rouge manages to do what it does with no partsforming or shellforming or other major cheats. Sure we can criticise her chest gap or hands or various other issues, but all things considered she's still a very impressive effort under the circumstances. Call me pessimistic but I just don't think there will ever be an MP Arcee that everyone will agree is perfect. Rouge has her fans, Leia has her fans (very forgiving souls they are ), no doubt MMC's will as well, but I doubt that 100% perfect absolutely accurate Arcee with no insane transformation we all wish somehow existed ever will. And that's fine. Shit, at least we finally HAVE some decent Arcees, only took 30 frigging years!
