THAT's what's making the wings shaped so funny---they didn't sweep the trailing edge! That royally screws up all the angles and proportions. (and doesn't look right in robot mode, either)

He has super scrawny arms compared to that barrel chest of his. They just need to add some thickness to them somehow and he'll look perfect imo.

 

MP scaled figures and mane line scale are 2 different things.

 

Wow those stabilizers are tiny. Looks like the designer worked off of the screengrab of Blitzscream going towards the screen in the trailers then used a 1/100 scale isometric drawing of an F-4 Phantom's stabilizers and matched them to a 1/72 scale drawing of an F-4 from the engine nozzles forward.

Yeah, at least a year because between, Devy, Leader Prime, the Bikes, Bee and others, I think Hasbro is trying to knock out 07-DOTM (KSI is an exception because they are clearly doing the whole set of them)

 

ROFL are you serious? Look, I know you're still new around here, but don't act like movie figures are at their core inherently more complex than anything prior to them just because of the super fancy detailing. You have not experienced pain on the level that is RID Omega Prime.

And more popular? Is that why the tail end of DOTM's deluxe run was FUCKING CANCELED? You know, the one that had Deluxe Soundwave and Leadfoot? While at the same time, Skids - who wasn't even in the film - got an early presence in the line?

And do some goddamn research, too, because you know what Movie Masterpiece Starscream is? A REDECO OF THE MASS RELEASE 2010 MOVIE LEADER STARSCREAM. A.k.a. in your own words, literally just "cheap Hasbro shit" in new paint.

 

So looks like blitzwing could benefit from a size reduction for the cockpit in both modes. An increase in size and angle from the fold line and out for the wings and increase the size of the elevators and tail fin and it should be good. These are changes that u can make without drastically altering the transformation process. Hopefully they make it happen

 

He does needs a lot of rework.

You clearly do not understand how toy design works if you think the movie figures are actually any more complex just because on screen they appear to have more moving parts.

MMC Carnifex would destroy you, and he's a straight G1 based figure, yet far more complex than a Masterpiece of any kind.

on that note i dont know about any of you but That Classics Cyclonus still holds up in scale and beats out all movie figures and PW figs. Movie Toys peaked at ROTF, a good couple waves of DOTM were cancelled like the others above +Steeljaw, Blaster and many others.
