Hello Autocons!!! Finally got my hands on a long lost antique 1/144 scale Gundam Model kit. I believe this kit was released back in 1988 and it is a fully transformable kit (not a parts former). I had this kit before but ended up selling it back in the 90's. I had such a huge regret selling the kit. Since then, I could not find another one in any hobby stores. Decades later, i found one a month ago from a Korean gift shop. Boy, the box looked so old. Luckily, the old man sold it to me for 5 bucks. He probably didn't even know what it was (lol!). Lucky me. I expected the kit to be quite fragile and thought of just assembling it and not paint it. But surprisingly, it is still in top shape. So I painted it using a can of Tamiya gloss blue spray paint. Did some detail touch up paint jobs using flat Testor paints (white, black, sky blue). Seal the flat paint using MSP brush-on sealer. The kit looks and feels solid. No lose joints, crack panels, etc. Such an awesome kit. Check out some of the pics below...
Thank you!!! Yeah, it's good for me to be able to go back and see some of the changes i did. I figure i share this with everyone.
